A single air-to\u2013air A9X Sidewinder missile was fired from an altitude of 58,000 feet. The spy balloon was allowed to fly thousands miles over the United States in the last few days by President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/chinese-spy-balloon-crashed-near-hawaii-last-year-one-flew-over-southern-u-s-states-under-trump-report\">reported<\/a> Early Sunday, a Chinese spy plane crashed into the Pacific Ocean off Hawaii&#8217;s coast late last year. There were also intrusions into U.S. Airspace during Trump&#8217;s administration.<\/p>\n<p>The claim that the Chinese spy balloons flew over U.S. soil under Trump generated strong pushback from the former president and from several of his top former officials, including John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence; John Bolton, national security adviser; Robert O\u2019Brien, national security adviser; Ric Grenell, acting Director of National Intelligence; and Mark Esper, Secretary of Defense.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/chinese-spy-balloons-over-us-during-trump-admin-discovered-after-he-left-office-senior-biden-official\">Report<\/a> Fox News reported that a senior Biden administration official said that \u201cU.S. intelligence, not the Biden administration\u201d This assessment \u201cPRC government surveillance balloons transited the continental U.S. briefly at least three times during the prior administration and once that we know of at the beginning of this administration, but never for this duration of time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, the official stated that Trump had not known about the incursions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis information was discovered after the [Trump] administration left,\u201d According to the official. \u201cThey went undetected. Two things can be true at once: this happened and it wasn\u2019t detected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the official, discovery is \u201cpart of a larger pattern\u201d Find out what the communist China does with its military, as it moves more aggressively in its foreign policy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese balloons are all part of a PRC fleet of balloons developed to conduct surveillance operations, which have also violated the sovereignty of other countries,\u201d The official added.<\/p>\n<p>Sen.
