And is it true, as Bloomberg News suggests, that your administration sat on the balloon news so as not to disrupt Secretary of State Antony Blinken\u2019s trip to Beijing, which has now been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/asia\/2023\/02\/03\/report-antony-blinken-abruptly-cancels-china-trip-spy-balloon-scandal\/\">Postponed<\/a>?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Bloomberg says it best: \u201cwith such a high-profile trip at stake, keeping it on the down-low was key.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Is this how your team saw it?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Keep the story alive \u201cdown-low\u201d?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>If so, how?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>The Chinese knew about the balloon\u2014why shouldn\u2019t Americans?<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_23181113\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-23181113 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/AP23034365734757-1.jpg\" alt=\"A high altitude balloon floats over Billings, Mont., on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023. John Kerry, your senior climate ambassador, has said that China&#8217;s engagement is the most important international issue. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2021\/09\/02\/1033557246\/u-s-envoy-kerry-says-china-is-crucial-to-handling-the-climate-crisis\">Climate change<\/a>. You may have even used the phrase &#8220;a href=&#8221;https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/environment\/cop27-biden-says-climate-crisis-is-about-human-security-economic-security-2022-11-11\/&#8221;>\u201cexistential threat\u201d<\/a> many times in regard to climate change \u2014 a stark phrase that you have never used about China. So, has your administration\u2019s desire to work with China on the \u201cexistential threat\u201d What has the impact of climate change on your stance on spy balloon? Did these\u00a0concerns \u2014 as you define it, the fate of the planet \u2014 give\u00a0you any feeling that you should slow down your reaction to this Chinese aggression? This might help to explain why you allowed the spy balloon to exist in American airspace. <em>Week<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Donald Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/donald-trump-shoot-down-balloon-chinese-spy-orb-1778817\"><\/a>, \u201cshoot down the balloon.\u201d Interestingly, Leon Panetta (a fellow Democrat), served as your secretary of defense in the Obama administration. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2023\/02\/03\/panetta-chinese-spy-balloon-gathering-intelligence-on-u-s-id-really-be-concerned-if-we-didnt-intercept-it-or-shoot-it-down\/\">Has said<\/a> The same thing.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Are Trump and Panetta right? Is it possible to say that you followed their lead?<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\"><strong>4.<\/strong> Bloomberg News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2023\/02\/04\/report-biden-administration-tried-to-hide-chinese-spy-balloon-from-american-public\/\">Reports<\/a>, \u201cIn an effort to keep things calm, administration officials stressed this was not the first such incident and that similar activities had been observed over the past several years, including during the prior administration.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0W<\/span>What exactly is the meaning of hat?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Is it possible that your anonymous briefers to media stated that a previous balloon flew above the United States, but the Trump administration did not do anything?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0That\u2019s quite an assertion!\u00a0<\/span>Would you and your colleagues agree with that statement?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Unter oath as testimony before Congress<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong> Chad Wolf (ex-acting secretary for Homeland Security in Trump&#8217;s administration) is a follow-up.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChadFWolf\/status\/1621916620326146048\">declared<\/a>, \u201cBottom line, a Chinese spy balloon would NEVER happen under an America First admin.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Is Wolf right?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Are his perceptions of his own administration misinformed?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>6.<\/strong> If it <i>It is<\/i> In the event that Chinese surveillance ballons fly over or near the United States, could you please explain the security policies and procedures you have in place since you assumed office?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0W<\/span>These policies were followed in the case ot this spy balloon?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Is it possible to allow the balloon into American airspace so that it can fly the entire distance across the country, without any further action?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0And on Saturday afternoon, you indicated that you had given orders back on February 1 to\u00a0shoot down the balloon when it was over water as opposed to land. It would appear that you have a significant paper trail of your executive decision making. Would you be willing to open all those\u00a0deliberations to the relevant Congressional oversight committees? Mike Rogers, R-AL, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee has\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kristina_wong\/status\/1622012607057076230\">declared<\/a>,\u00a0<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">\u201cIt\u2019s clear the Biden administration had hoped to hide this national security failure from Congress and the American people.\u201d Rogers is suggesting that you chose to shoot down the spy satellite after it was discovered. Rep. Rogers is he wrong?
