They were each superstars together in the league and played together as The Dream Team. It was nearly impossible for them to not become close friends.<\/p>\n<p>Barkley claims that the friendship has ended.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/michael-jordan-has-ghosted-charles-barkley-for-a-decade-over-pretty-tame-comments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">It is well documented over the years<\/a> Chuck and MJ are not friends anymore and their relationship seems over when Barkley commented on Jordan&#8217;s habit of surrounding himself with yes men to be the owner and manager of the Charlotte Hornets. <\/p>\n<p>A recent appearance on the \u2018All The Smoke\u2019 Podcast: Barkley discusses what transpired between Jordan and him, while sharing the last thing MJ said to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was my best friend at the time, and I love the guy and I miss the guy,\u201d Barkley explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, I\u2019ve got to do my job. First of all, I don\u2019t think it\u2019s fair of me to critique other GMs and coaches and have a double standard. I think I\u2019m fair to everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I said about Michael is that I don\u2019t know if he\u2019s ever going to be successful (as a team owner) because of the people around him.
