However, it was able to penetrate the public discourse for over a decade.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Breitbart News received one email. <em>Times<\/em> Ken Vogel, reporter, sent Tony Bobulinski an email on October 15, 2020 at 5:20 PM PT. Vogel wanted to confirm the authenticity of the emails. <em>New York Post<\/em> Bobulinski was cited.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSorry to drop unannounced into your inboxes during this hectic time,\u201d Vogel reached out to many attorneys in Bobulinski. \u201cI am attempting to assess the authenticity of emails cited in The New York Post that include your client, Tony Bobulinksi, as a recipient and an ostensible participant in a business venture in China with Hunter Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">Vogel requests the attorneys to speak with him about his background in order to confirm the authenticity and explain the process. <em>New York Post<\/em> These were published and obtained.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The <em>New York Post<\/em> Had earlier that morning, Oct. 15, 2020. <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/10\/15\/emails-reveal-how-hunter-biden-tried-to-cash-in-big-with-chinese-firm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Published the bombshell report<\/a> from Emma-Jo Morris\u2014now the politics editor at Breitbart News\u2014 that revealed emails from Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop discussed a potential business deal with Chinese executives, which referred to \u201cthe big guy\u201d taking ten percent equity.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Seventy-one percent of Americans believe accurate reporting of Hunter Biden\u2019s \u201cLaptop from Hell\u201d TIPP Insights polling Monday revealed that the 2020 presidential election could have been influenced by these factors. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/gpzr69jURY\">https:\/\/t.co\/gpzr69jURY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1602750888539455497?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 13, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHunter Biden pursued lucrative deals involving China\u2019s largest private energy company \u2014 including one that he said would be \u201cinteresting for me and my family,\u201d emails obtained by The Post show,\u201d Morris wrote in the Oct. 15, 2020, article. \u201cOne email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line \u2018Expectations,\u2019 included details of \u201cremuneration packages\u201d For six people involved in an unknown business venture. Biden was identified. \u2018Chair \/ Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,\u2019 An apparent reference to former Shanghai-based conglomerate CEFC China Energy Co. \u2018850\u2019 The email also stated that \u2018Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.\u2019 The email also outlined the following: \u2018provisional agreement\u2019 Below 80 percent \u2018equity,\u2019 Or shares in the company&#8217;s new venture, would be split equally between four people whose initials match the sender, and three recipients. \u2018H\u2019 Biden is apparently being referenced. The deal also listed \u201910 Jim\u2019 and \u201910 held by H for the big guy?\u2019 Neither Jim nor the \u2018big guy\u2019 was identified further.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Post<\/em> report, that Vogel asked Bobulinski\u2019s attorneys about, also explicitly states that the email came from Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">\u201cThe email is contained in a trove of data that the owner of a computer repair shop in Delaware said was recovered from a MacBook Pro laptop that was dropped off in April 2019 and never retrieved,\u201d Morris wrote.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Bobulinski said to Breitbart News, that Vogel&#8217;s inquiry was received by his lawyers on Monday morning. He called Vogel and confirmed that the emails were authentic. <em>New York Times<\/em> reporter. He claimed he did. \u201con background,\u201d This means that it is anonymous, but that you are the recipient of the email.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was the craziest thing. It seemed like the entire political world was debating whether the \u201910% for the Big Guy\u2019 email was authentic and if so, who the Big Guy was,\u201d Bobulinski told Breitbart News. \u201cKen Vogel, a reporter for the storied New York Times is told that the email is indeed authentic, that Joe Biden is indeed the \u2018Big Guy,\u2019 and that he can attribute that information to a recipient of the email. You\u2019d think that\u2019s a pretty big scoop. Nope. Vogel just sat on it. Remember, he reached out to me so he damn well knew that the information was newsworthy. I had literally hundreds of reporters reaching out to me. I responded to him and trusted that he would do something with that information because I was told that he shoots straight on his Biden coverage. Nothing could be further from the truth. He was taking sides, not reporting the news \u2014 and he did so to the detriment of American voters. All the news that\u2019s fit to print? What an absolute joke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vogel and the <em>Times<\/em> would not, until March 2022\u2014more than 500 days after that phone call with Bobulinski\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/03\/16\/us\/politics\/hunter-biden-tax-bill-investigation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Write a story<\/a> saying that the newspaper had authenticated emails from Hunter Biden\u2019s infamous laptop. The following story was published on March 16, 2022. <em>Times<\/em> Finally, they said it had \u201cauthenticated\u201d Emails sent from the laptop that refer to other emails than the Bobulinski emails.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The New York Times falsely claimed Sunday that Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop was \u201cstolen,\u201d It was actually abandoned at the computer shop where he had taken it. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/oPnMDHo6Zh\">https:\/\/t.co\/oPnMDHo6Zh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartNews\/status\/1599851662423822383?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 5, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"a8d-pre\">\u201cPeople familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between [Hunter] Biden, [Devon] Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity,\u201d Vogel and fellow <em>Times<\/em> Reporters Katie Benner, and Michael Schmidt contributed to the story on March 16, 2022. The New York Times obtained those emails from a cache that appeared to have been taken from a laptop left behind by President Biden at a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>It was hidden 24 paragraphs deep in the article. This marked the first time that the newspaper of record in America had revealed it. \u201cauthenticated\u201d Emails from the laptop were left behind by the son of the President of the United States in a Delaware computer shop years before. This March 2022 story is silent on the Bobulinski emails and other material. However, the fact that there is a <em>Times<\/em> Finally, it said that at least some of the material had been authenticated. This was a far cry from the fake and whimsical narratives that ex-intelligence community officials had been promoting for more than a year between the 2020 election and now. That the laptop and its contents were somehow stolen. \u201cRussian disinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vogel and the <em>Times<\/em> Actually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/10\/25\/us\/politics\/bidens-china.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Published a story<\/a> before the 2020 election\u2014on Oct. 25, 2020, nine days after that Oct. 16 phone call with Bobulinski\u2014that references the \u201cthe big guy\u201d email and other materials. The headline for that Times piece was from Vogel, Maggie Haberman and Eric Lipton. \u201cQuestions and Answers About the Bidens and a Deal in China.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The word \u201claptop\u201d It is not mentioned in the story. The article also does not mention that the laptop had these emails. The article instead mentions the <em>Times<\/em> report from that day frames the effort to expose the Biden family\u2019s business dealings with the Chinese as something that then-President Donald Trump \u201cand his allies\u201d They were behind, calling the incident a \u201clast-ditch effort\u201d Before the election.<\/p>\n<p>This piece refers to the famous \u201cthe big buy\u201d email, and that it was part of \u201crecords produced by Mr. Bobulinski.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Bobulinski records include emails, contracts, business plan documents and photographs of encrypted messages among the American partners,\u201d Vogel, Haberman and Lipton wrote. \u201cThe Times could not independently authenticate all of the records, but the records referred to in this article are consistent with interviews and previous reporting by The Times. The Biden campaign did not dispute that Hunter and James Biden participated in negotiating the deal with the Chinese company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Again, this article does not make clear that these emails also appeared on the laptop\u2014as reported by the <em>New York Post<\/em>Vogel refers to this in his initial inquiry with the Bobulinski attorneys.<\/p>\n<p>Vogel and the <em>Times<\/em> This article was not commented on by you.<\/p>\n<p>For what it\u2019s worth, the <em>Times<\/em> actually did not\u2014according to a source familiar with the matter\u2014obtain a copy of the Hunter Biden laptop until nearly a year later, in August 2021. It is difficult to believe that this happened considering the fact that copies of the Hunter Biden laptop were easily available in public for journalists who requested them. Nonetheless, it also begs the question why the newspaper waited from August 2021 until March 2022\u2014a period of several months during which Hunter Biden\u2019s father was President of the United States\u2014to report that it had authenticated at least some emails from the laptop, which, as the Bobulinski-Vogel call from October 2020 confirms, the newspaper had done long before it got a copy of the laptop.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">New York Times Admits Hunter&#8217;s Laptop is Real! This is due to the fact that many powerful Americans were spreading disinformation by claiming the Hunter Biden notebook was disinformation promoted by Russians.<\/p>\n<p>On Oct. 19, 2020\u2014after Vogel had spoken to Bobulinski but before the <em>New York Times<\/em> published that story from him, Haberman, and Lipton\u2014Politico\u2019s Natasha Bertrand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2020\/10\/19\/hunter-biden-story-russian-disinfo-430276\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Published this headline<\/a>: \u201cHunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bertrand wrote a letter about claims in which she has since moved to CNN. \u201cthe arrival on the US political scene of emails purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden\u2019s son Hunter, much of it related to his time serving on the Board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/f\/?id=00000175-4393-d7aa-af77-579f9b330000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Let me know<\/a> It was signed several powerful individuals, including James Clapper (ex-Director of National Intelligence), Mike Hayden (ex-CIA Director), Leon Panetta (ex-Defense Secretary), John Brennan (ex CIA director), and many other senior intelligence community officials.<\/p>\n<p>Vogel himself is on the byline of a story from October 2020 that loosely attempts to connect the Hunter Biden laptop to some kind of Russian disinformation plot\u2014but not nearly as aggressively as those former intelligence community officials had.<\/p>\n<p>The Oct. 31, 2020 <em>Times<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/10\/31\/us\/politics\/rudy-giuliani-biden.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Piece<\/a>Vogel, Haberman, Jim Rutenberg, report on how Rudy Giuliani (former mayor of New York City) was an integral figure in delivering Hunter Biden&#8217;s laptop to the <em>New York Post<\/em> The newspaper in fall 2020. This story states that \u201cintelligence officials warned the White House last year that Russian agents were using him as a conduit for anti-Biden disinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This link takes you to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/10\/15\/us\/politics\/giuliani-russian-disinformation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Previous <em>Times<\/em> piece<\/a>, from reporters Haberman, Eric Schmitt, and Julian Barnes, that was published on Oct. 15, 2020\u2014the same day that the <em>New York Post<\/em> published the Bobulinski emails from the Hunter Biden laptop and that Vogel reached out to Bobulinski\u2019s attorneys\u2014that says in the headline: \u201cTrump Said to Be Warned That Giuliani Was Conveying Russian Disinformation.\u201d The reported warning apparently came nearly a year earlier in late 2019, warning that Giuliani\u2019s work with Ukrainian politician Andriy Derkach was concerning.<\/p>\n<p>Haberman, Schmitt and Barnes wrote deep in the piece that the <em>Times<\/em> \u201chas not been able to verify the information that Mr. Giuliani furnished to The Post, which he said came from a laptop left at a Delaware repair shop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe owner of the shop has given conflicting accounts to reporters, and Mr. Giuliani\u2019s acquisition of the laptop has raised questions about the material on it,\u201d They wrote. \u201cSome former officials who have not reviewed the material suspect it could be Russian disinformation and noted Mr. Giuliani\u2019s work with Mr. Derkach. The intelligence warning to Mr. Trump in December had nothing to do with the laptop, a former official said.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This timeline also includes a separate piece that the <em>Times<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/10\/22\/us\/politics\/hunter-biden-laptop.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Publiziert<\/a>On Oct. 22, 2020, Adam Goldman, a reporter, raised concerns about the possibility that the laptop could be Russian disinformation.
