Now he\u2019s at home, able to do it while awaiting sentencing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;But a man who sat at <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/breaking-pelosi-office-involved-in-jan-6-security-failures-gop-report-reveals\">Pelosi<\/a>\u2019s desk faces 20 years &#038; people who walked into the Capitol on J6 are rotting in jail pretrial.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-ndny\/pr\/broome-county-man-pleads-guilty-making-interstate-threats-member-congress\">A release from Department of Justice<\/a> Joseph F. Morelli (51), Endicott, New York, pled guilty &#8220;making threatening phone calls from his home in Endicott, New York to the voicemail in the office of a member of Congress in Washington, D.C.,&#8221; Greene was the congressman.<\/p>\n<p>Morelli said that he called the Washington, DC office on March 3, 2022 and was told that he had received a part of that information. &#8220;I&#8217;m gonna have to take your life into my own hands\u2026 I&#8217;m gonna hurt you. Physically, I\u2019m gonna harm you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A second voicemail message, March 3, 2022. This message contained some information. &#8220;I&#8217;m gonna have to show you, to your face, right up front, what violence truly is, and I don&#8217;t think you&#8217;re gonna like it.\u2026 I can pay someone 500 bucks to take a baseball bat and crack your skull. \u2026You are going to get f**king physically hurt.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On March 3, 2022, another voicemail message stated that &#8220;you&#8217;re going cause people to be hurt, so you&#8217;ll have to hurt me physically.&#8221; \u2026 I&#8217;m gonna make sure that, even if they lock me up, someone&#8217;s gonna get you \u2018cause I&#8217;ll pay them to.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Greene&#8217;s statement continues, &#8220;He faces up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 and a term of supervised release of up to 3 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The press keeps asking me about threats against Rep. Omar, but none of them knew about this guilty plea for a threat against my life. Multiple people who want to kill me have been arrested, but the DC media doesn\u2019It should be reported.
