The latest example of the sheer stupidity of our so-called elites can be found in the latest updates regarding Hunter Biden\u2019s infamous \u201claptop from hell.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Biden the younger\u2019s legal team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/hunter-bidens-lawyers-demand-criminal-investigation-laptop-leakers-rudy-giuliani\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sent a letter<\/a> Request an investigation by the Delaware attorney general and the United States Department of Justice \u201cindividuals for whom there is considerable reason to believe violated various federal laws in accessing, copying, manipulating, and\/or disseminating Mr. Biden\u2019s personal computer data.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letters were taken by many as a sign that Hunter was finally confirming that Hunter\u2019s laptop left at John Paul Mac Isaac\u2019s repair shop was actually his. This will be a familiar story to readers. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/cbs-finally-admits-hunters-laptop-is-real-more-than-two-years-after-the-fact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">51 ex-intelligence officers<\/a> claimed that the New York Post\u2019s original 2020 report on the computer was \u201cRussian disinformation.\u201d Twitter then censored Hunter&#8217;s story and the rest is history. Hunter has never denied or confirmed that it\u2019s his laptop, so the legal request sent this week appeared to be a stunning admission.<\/p>\n<p>His lawyers then issued a ridiculous statement. Biden\u2019s counsel claimed that the request for a criminal investigation does not in any way confirm that the laptop is actually his.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese letters do not confirm Mac Isaac\u2019s or others\u2019 versions of a so-called laptop,\u201d Hunter\u2019s attorney Abbe Lowell <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/hunter-bidens-lawyers-demand-criminal-investigation-laptop-leakers-rudy-giuliani\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Submitted<\/a> Fox News. \u201cThey address their conduct of seeking, manipulating, and disseminating what they allege to be Mr. Biden\u2019s personal data, wherever they claim to have gotten it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Huh?<\/p>\n<p>The law offices not confirming that the computer in question and its contents are real \u2014 they just want the DOJ to investigate key figures who reported on it and shared its contents? Where did this team of attorneys come from \u2014 the Law Offices of Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe?<\/p>\n<p>There are many media outlets that offer this service. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/cbs-finally-admits-hunters-laptop-is-real-more-than-two-years-after-the-fact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">It was confirmed that the texts were correct<\/a>Emails, photos and other content that is taken from the laptop can be verified. Although we knew it in 2020, legacy media outlets were unable to confirm its veracity until 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, Hunter\u2019s counsel says it is all one big con played by Trump supporters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis failed dirty political trick directly resulted in the exposure, exploitation, and manipulation of Mr. Biden\u2019s private and personal information,\u201d Lowell wrote in the letters that he sent to the DOJ. \u201cPoliticians and the news media have used this unlawfully accessed, copied, distributed, and manipulated data to distort the truth and cause harm to Mr. Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s legal team also acknowledge their request is unusual.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe actions described above more than merit a full investigation and, depending on the resulting facts, may merit prosecution under various statutes. It is not a common thing for a private person and his counsel to seek someone else being investigated, but the actions and motives here require it,\u201d Lowell stated this in his letter.<\/p>\n<p>So, to recap, Biden\u2019s attorneys understand they are asking for special treatment, claim an investigation into \u201cMr. Biden\u2019s personal computer data\u201d is needed but then try to argue that they\u2019re not saying it is Hunter\u2019s laptop.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, this same \u201ccomputer data\u201d Hunter could face criminal charges.
