Neither Biden\u2019s attorneys nor the Justice Department previously disclosed the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/biden-center-classified-docs-searched-fbi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FBI\u2019s search<\/a> of the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in the weeks after the president\u2019s attorneys reported <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/biden-classified-documents-trump-attacks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Locating classified documents<\/a> On Nov.<\/p>\n<p>Biden left the Senate to run for vice presidency in 2009 and handed over his files from Congress to Delaware. Continue reading \u201cthan 1,850 boxes of archival records from the President\u2019s Senate career arrived at the Library on June 6, 2012,\u201d These are the areas that are under review <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/library.udel.edu\/special\/home\/collections\/joseph-r-biden-jr-senatorial-papers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to<\/a> the university\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>Yet there has been no known search of Biden\u2019s records at the university, despite classified files from the president\u2019s time in the Senate surfacing among the documents found at his home.<\/p>\n<p>White House spokesman Ian Sams reiterated that Biden\u2019s attorneys are cooperating with the Justice Department in the search process but would not name any additional locations that could be a target.<\/p>\n<p>Sams also declined to detail for reporters when the Justice Department made plans to search Biden\u2019s properties.<\/p>\n<p>Access to Biden\u2019s University of Delaware archive is tightly controlled, though Biden and his aides retain supervised access if requested, according to the university.<\/p>\n<p>The website states that no one from Biden\u2019s team has visited the collection since November 2019 and that the collection is intact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo documents have been added or removed by any Biden designees during any visits,\u201d It says.<\/p>\n<p>Lewis Schiliro, who once headed the FBI\u2019s New York bureau, said that Biden\u2019s pattern of bringing classified documents into his home and to the think tank suggests there could be additional spillage uncovered among the trove.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Biden brought classified documents to the Biden Penn Center and his house, you can make an inference that there are possible classified records at the University of Delaware,\u201d Schiliro is a former Delaware secretary of safety and homeland security <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/m.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2023\/feb\/1\/university-delaware-seen-next-target-biden-classif\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Submitted<\/a> The <i>Washington Times<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Delaware didn&#8217;t respond to our request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Republican lawmakers have urged investigators to extend their search to Biden\u2019s papers at the university.<\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION FROM THE WASHINGTON XAMINER<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo stone should be left unturned and every single establishment that is associated with Joe Biden must be searched,\u201d Rep. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/jeff-van-drew-says-divorce-from-democrats-was-civil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jeff Van Drew<\/a> Fox News interviewed (R-NJ). \u201cWe need to know what classified material President Biden unlawfully removed during his time as senator and vice president, and exactly how many classified documents were removed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">White House <\/a>has declined to confirm the number of classified files found in Biden\u2019s records, though estimates place the total between 25 and 30.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Delaware could be next in line for federal authorities searching President Joe Biden\u2019s records for classified documents.
