He asked her if she believed it. \u201chealthy\u201d To bring that idea back in 2017,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou told Megyn Kelly, \u2018You know what you\u2019re getting into when you go to a hotel room alone.\u2019 Do you feel like that was a healthy thought to introduce into the dialogue at that point?\u201d Farrow asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI could even take it a step further,\u201d was Anderson\u2019s reply. \u201cMy mother would tell me \u2014 and I think this is the kind of feminism I grew up with \u2014 it takes two to tango \u2026 \u2018If someone answers the door in a hotel robe and you\u2019re going for an interview, don\u2019t go in. But if you do go in, get the job.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s a horrible thing to say but that\u2019s how I was,\u201d Anderson acknowledged, but she continued to add that her sense of self-worth has helped her respond to certain situations differently than younger women in Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I think a lot of people don\u2019t have that or they weren\u2019t taught that,\u201d Anderson stated that she was thankful to the #MeToo movement, as she believes that it has changed the dynamic.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson initially <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/02\/01\/pamela-anderson-doubles-down-on-controversial-metoo-comments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Backlash sparked<\/a>Farrow said that Farrow made the comment after an interview with Megyn Kelly, a former Fox News host, in which she suggested that women should be more prepared than going alone to auditions in hotel rooms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I came to Hollywood, of course I had a lot of offers to do private auditions and things that made absolutely no sense,\u201d Kelly was informed by Anderson. \u201c[It\u2019s] just common sense: Don\u2019t go into a hotel room alone.
