Many of these channels have adopted the free speech video sharing platform <a href=\"https:\/\/reclaimthenet.org\/topics\/rumble\" class=\"st_tag internal_tag\" rel=\"tag\" title=\"Posts about Rumble\">Rumble<\/a> It was used to post uncensored versions.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube&#8217;s recent wave of censorship seems to be linked to a change in YouTube&#8217;s interpretation of its content <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/PXYyZ\">Firearms policy<\/a>. This policy bans any content that contains instructions for manufacturing \u201chomemade silencers\/suppressors\u201d However, there are no restrictions on attaching suppressors firearms.<\/p>\n<p>The Firearms Policy does have a major caveat: <b>\u201cPlease note this is not a complete list.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>YouTube flagged some gun channel videos, suggesting that YouTube has taken this precaution to block videos showing silencers attached to guns.<\/p>\n<p>Mrgunsngear has several videos removed from YouTube and was hit with multiple strikes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-111763\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/mrgunsngear-youtube-update.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1374\" height=\"1326\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/mrgunsngear-youtube-update.png 1374w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/mrgunsngear-youtube-update-300x290-1.png 300w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/mrgunsngear-youtube-update-1024x988-1.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/mrgunsngear-youtube-update-768x741-1.png 768w, https:\/\/reclaimthenet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/mrgunsngear-youtube-update-24x24.png 24w\"   style=\"display:none\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-111755 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Screenshot-2023-01-31-at-00.15.21@2x-e1675188029283.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1246\" height=\"218\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Screenshot-2023-01-31-at-00.15.21@2x-e1675188029283.png 1246w, https:\/\/reclaimthenet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Screenshot-2023-01-31-at-00.15.21@2x-e1675188029283-300x52.png 300w, https:\/\/reclaimthenet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Screenshot-2023-01-31-at-00.15.21@2x-e1675188029283-1024x179.png 1024w, https:\/\/reclaimthenet.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Screenshot-2023-01-31-at-00.15.21@2x-e1675188029283-768x134.png 768w\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These strikes temporarily obstruct channels&#8217; uploads of new videos. <a href=\"https:\/\/reclaimthenet.org\/youtube-community-guidelines-strikes\/\">Increase their chance of being permanently terminated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/rumble.com\/v262rt4-channel-suspended-from-youtube-update.html\">Video discussing some of these strikes<\/a>Mrgunsngear stated that he believes YouTube is now a viable option. \u201cchange how they\u2019re interpreting\u201d The Firearms policy.<\/p>\n<p>He added that a YouTube representative told him that his videos had received a strike for either putting a magazine that\u2019s greater than 30 rounds into a gun or putting a silencer on a firearm (something that YouTube deemed to be \u201cmodifying a firearm.\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>Mrgunsngear also pointed out that some of his videos that showed silencers attached to guns were flagged. \u201cusing a homemade silencer,\u201d Despite the fact that none of these silencers were made at home,<\/p>\n<p>He stated that his YouTube representative had told him that firearms creators will face a strike, and that videos would be deleted if they:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Insert magazines with more than 30 rounds in a firearm<\/li>\n<li>\u201cModify\u201d firearms (YouTube\u2019s definition of \u201cmodifying\u201d This includes the installation of accessories like lights, hand guards or optics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mrgunsngear stated that he will be blurring certain things from his videos in light of the enforcement changes. Donut Operator, a YouTuber who breaks down police shootings and crime videos, added that Top Shot Dustin\u2019s video was flagged because it showed \u201cthe screwing on of a suppressor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ammoland is a website that covers sports news and shooting. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ammoland.com\/2023\/01\/youtube-censorship-of-suppressor-content-wholesale-deletion-of-creators\/\">reported<\/a> NFA Review Channel has 155,000 subscribers on YouTube. A recent strike was initiated by Ammoland over a video that showed a suppressor attached to a firearm. Ammoland stated that NFA Review Channel will continue uploading content to YouTube, but also to its new Rumble channel.<\/p>\n<p>Garand Thumb, a firearms channel that has 2.75 million subscribers on YouTube, released a video entitled \u201cThe best fighting carbine ever made? Knight\u2019s Armament SR-15\u201d removed for allegedly violating YouTube\u2019s Firearms policy. YouTube had deleted his video during his visit, he said. \u201cone vacation of the year\u201d His family.<\/p>\n<p>Forgotten Weapons, a YouTube channel featuring obscure guns with 2.5 million subscribers, received a warning.
