It&#8217;s also been accused of generating sexualized images, among other illegal material.<\/p>\n<p>The controversy started Monday when Atrioc accidentally opened his browser window. One tab in the browser contained nude images of Twitch streamers.<\/p>\n<p>Atrioc apologized for his actions and said that he was learning artificial intelligence online. Atrioc then admitted that he was browsing PornHub when he noticed an advertisement for the site, and clicked on it. He subscribed to the site and paid for it. \u201cI got morbidly curious and I clicked something,\u201d He stated. \u201cIt\u2019s gross and I\u2019m sorry\u2026 It\u2019s so embarrassing.\u201d He said that his actions weren&#8217;t a travesty. \u201cpattern of behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The streamers who posted fake images to the site were furious at being sexualized online.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis story was how I found out that I\u2019m on this website,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sweetanita\/status\/1620143205282103297\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sweet Anita<\/a> tweeted. \u201cI literally choose to pass up millions by not going into sex work and some random cheeto encrusted porn addict solicits my body without my consent instead. Don\u2019t know whether to cry, break stuff or laugh at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[S]top sexualizing people without their consent,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pokimanelol\/status\/1620492032623136768?s=20&#038;t=JBCwj-lTgbsQF_KciGlgog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pokimane<\/a> added. \u201c[T]hat\u2019s it, that\u2019s the tweet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to scream,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/qtcinderella\/status\/1620142227250094080?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1620142227250094080%7Ctwgr%5Ef50cfed32485d1ebc1cea2b310d534c412b88d42%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dexerto.com%2Fentertainment%2Fqtcinderella-sweet-anita-respond-after-atrioc-streamer-deepfake-drama-2047529%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QTCinderella<\/a> Twitter: \u201cStop. Being seen \u2018naked\u2019 against your will should NOT BE A PART OF THIS JOB.\u201d She took it one step further by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/videos\/1723309941\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Video<\/a> Twitch reacts on the video, telling owner of the site she plans to sue.<\/p>\n<p>A second statement has been posted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twitlonger.com\/show\/n_1ss80dv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TwitLonger<\/a>Atrioc announced that he would pay for the costs of removing the offensive content as well as the legal fees for the streamers. Atrioc announced that he would not be creating content anymore and that OFFBRAND, his content production studio, would cease to exist. \u201cThis will be the last time you hear from me for a while,\u201d He wrote. \u201cI\u2019d rather you see my actions. I will try my absolute hardest to combat the damage I caused.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to a screenshot shared on the site, the person behind the fake images has taken them down and replaced it with a lengthy apology. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Destiny\/comments\/10q0f7t\/deep_fake_creator_atrioc_was_subbed_to_on\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reddit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Deepfake technology, which uses AI to map someone\u2019s face onto another person\u2019s body, has been around since at least <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/deepfakes-digitally-altered-video-could-become-paul-bois\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2018<\/a>. Even porn sites like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/deepfakes-pornhub-bans-fake-celebrity-porn-videos-paul-bois\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PornHub<\/a> The practice has been banned on the ground that it is not consensual. This technology has progressed and proliferated a lot since then, which has only highlighted its undesirable aspects.
