Advocates of child sex change often point out the U.S.-based medical experts that support it to ignore any criticisms.<\/p>\n<p>Pediatric \u201cgender-affirming\u201d Care is often referred to as &#8220;the best&#8221;. \u201cmedical consensus,\u201d Even though there is very little evidence to support it, they continue to practice it. The closure of prominent gender clinics and strict restrictions on cross-sex hormone use led to the banning of minor gender-related surgeries. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/italian-psychological-association-expressed-great-concern-over-puberty-blocking-drugs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Italy<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/new-data-reveals-pediatric-gender-clinic-referrals-in-australia-have-skyrocketed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Australia<\/a>?, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/spains-medical-societies-revolt-against-proposed-transgender-law\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spain\u2019s<\/a> Similar concerns have been raised by medical organizations.<\/p>\n<p>In the United States, children are put in the driver\u2019s seat of their own sex change operations, despite the fact that a body of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sexologytoday.org\/2016\/01\/do-trans-kids-stay-trans-when-they-grow_99.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Research<\/a> indicates that roughly 60\u201390% of children who identify as transgender, but who do not socially or medically transition, will no longer identify as transgender in adulthood and many will grow up to be gay and lesbian adults. Many past disasters were caused by blind trust in authorities, and the dismissal of critics of the dominant narrative. Perhaps it\u2019s time to take a lesson from history; as Spanish-American philosopher George Santayana said, \u201cThose who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The United States looks back with horror on such atrocities in the first half 20th century, like the Tuskegee experiments and lobotomies. They also committed women to asylums after diagnosing their condition. \u201cfemale hysteria,\u201d It seems that the recent medical scandals are either forgotten or ignored.<\/p>\n<p>Antidepressants and The \u2018Chemical Imbalance\u2019 Theory Of Depression<\/p>\n<p>The medical establishment played an integral role in the promotion of a now-discredited theory of depression, which antidepressants \u2014 a $17 billion a year industry that is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/en\/news-release\/2022\/10\/13\/2533775\/28124\/en\/Depression-Drugs-Global-Market-Report-2022-Emergence-of-Novel-Techniques-for-the-Development-of-Antidepressants-With-Minimal-Side-Effects-Presents-Opportunities.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Set to grow<\/a> to nearly $22 billion per year by 2027 \u2014\u00a0purported to correct.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cchemical imbalance\u201d Since the 1980s, the medical establishment has widely supported the theory that depression can be caused by brain abnormalities. Not surprisingly, the popularization of this theory coincided with the introduction of Prozac \u2014 an antidepressant that was marketed as a treatment for depression by increasing levels of serotonin.<\/p>\n<p>Randomized double blind placebo control studies (RDBPC), considered to be the \u201cgold standard\u201d Studies of epidemiologic data have consistently shown that antidepressants do not work better than placebos in treating depression long-term.
