Biden\u2019s personal attorney claimed that the materials were not classified.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Sams, senior advisor to the White House Counsel\u2019s Office, was asked by a reporter if the FBI has conducted any searches of any other locations associated with the president that the administration is aware of.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, I think we\u2019re providing information as this goes on and answering questions about the search activities as they\u2019ve been happening,\u201d Sams said. \u201cI don\u2019t want to speak too much to the DOJ\u2019s practices in an ongoing investigation. He was asked if he knew the answer. Since then, Biden\u2019s attorneys have located more classified documents at Biden\u2019s home in Wilmington, Delaware, on multiple occasions: an unspecified number found in the garage on December 20, one document found in Biden\u2019s study on January 11, and five more found in the study on January 12.<\/p>\n<p>Federal officials\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fbi-conducted-13-hour-search-of-bidens-home-found-more-classified-material\">confirmed<\/a>\u00a0two weeks ago that they found more classified material during a 13-hour FBI search of Biden\u2019s home on January 20.<\/p>\n<p>CNN\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/01\/25\/politics\/justice-department-biden-home-search\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> last week that while Biden\u2019s team claimed it was cooperative in dealing with the Department of Justice, federal investigators were prepared to get a search warrant if Biden did not consent to being searched.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/merrick-garland-appoints-special-counsel-to-investigate-biden-classified-document-scandal\">appointed<\/a>\u00a0former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur \u2014 who served during the Trump administration \u2014 to serve as special counsel in the investigation after the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, who was assigned to do an initial review of the case, recommended to Garland that a special counsel be appointed.<\/p>\n<p>CNN described Hur&#8217;s special counsel investigation as &#8220;a&#8221; \u201cfull-blown criminal investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The White House refused to say Wednesday whether federal law enforcement officials were searching other locations associated with President Joe Biden as they search for classified material in their criminal investigation into the president.
