(Photo by Samuel Corum\/Getty Images).    <\/p>\n<p>Democrats are using a dark money group as a cover to stop Republican investigations into President Joe Biden&#8217;s son Hunter and his father Hunter.<\/p>\n<p>The Congressional Integrity Project will provide poll data, ads and opposition research to the Biden White House, as well as congressional Democrats, on Republicans involved in investigations into the Biden family. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/02\/01\/politics\/democrats-strategy-gop-investigations\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN reported<\/a>. House Republicans have made clear their intention to investigate the Biden family\u2019s business dealings, the president\u2019s handling of classified documents, the border crisis, and federal mismanagement of the coronavirus relief program.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats\u2019 collusion with the Congressional Integrity Project contradicts party leaders\u2019 insistence that dark money has undue influence on Washington, D.C. For example, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.), who took part in a press call with the Congressional Integrity Project this week, <a href=\"https:\/\/swalwell.house.gov\/media-center\/in-the-news\/john-mccain-left-roadmap-lets-honor-him-following-it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lamentable<\/a> In 2018, that &#8220;a flood of dark money is poisoning our democracy, letting deep-pocketed special interests prevent Congress from acting even on issues upon which we agree.&#8221; Biden stated that &#8220;dark money erodes public trust.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The 2020 launch of the Congressional Integrity Project does not reveal its ultimate donors. But tax filings indicate that it has received almost all of its funding from the Sixteen Thirty Fund. A left-wing group, the Sixteen Thirty Fund is the source of most of its money. &#8220;indisputable heavyweight of Democratic dark money.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to tax forms, the Sixteen Thirty Fund gave $1.5 Million to the Congressional Integrity Project from 2020. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/sixteen-thirty-fund-congressional-integrity-project-dark-money\">By the <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/sixteen-thirty-fund-congressional-integrity-project-dark-money\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Washington Examiner<\/em><\/a> This was last year. According to The Congressional Integrity Project, the same revenue amount was reported by the Congressional Integrity Project. <a href=\"https:\/\/congressionalintegrity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020-990.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tax<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/congressionalintegrity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021-990.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Filings<\/a> Reviewed by the <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The Sixteen Thirty Fund doesn&#8217;t disclose its donors. However, some of its supporters have made it public about their support for the group.
