For shoving in a Planned Parenthood activist, the pro-life activist could face up to 11 years imprisonment \u201cescort\u201d He had verbally accosted his child.<\/p>\n<p>Several others still face charges under the clearly unconstitutional FACE Act. This infringes upon the right to free speech to provide protections for abortion mills and infringes the right to free speech. In Houck\u2019s case, despite the state charges against him being dropped and an argument for self-defense existing, the DOJ continued to pursue the prosecution as part of the Biden administration\u2019s crackdown on pro-life activists following the overturning of <em>Roe v.<\/em> Wade.<\/p>\n<p>We are now looking at what happened to Houck and the DOJ needs to explain.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">BREAKING: Hannity has just shown footage of Mark Houck&#8217;s encounter with the Planned Parenthood attendant. He clearly walks along the road towards where Houck is praying and counseling to threaten him.<\/p>\n<p>For this, the Biden DOJ attempted to send him to jail for eleven years. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jqpFQi7zCv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pic.twitter.com\/jqpFQi7zCv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Greg Price (@greg_price11) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/greg_price11\/status\/1620254090789003265?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January 31, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The surveillance video, which was shown on Sean Hannity\u2019s Monday evening broadcast, revealed several important things. We see that Houck is in the video. <em>Was not<\/em>\u00a0It is located at the entrance to the abortion facility. The FACE Act stipulates that the woman should not be more than 100 yards away. Furthermore, it is evident that the \u201cescort\u201d walked all the way down the sidewalk by himself in order to threaten Houck\u2019s son. The pro-abortion activist wasn&#8217;t escorting anyone.<\/p>\n<p>Houck appears not to have had any reason to be charged under the FACE Act. Remember, the question here wasn\u2019t whether Houck shoved the man. That\u2019s a matter that was dealt with at the local level as it should have been, and no one goes to prison for 11 years for pushing someone. Houck&#8217;s actions were a violation of the FACE Act, which provided the basis for federal charges being brought by the DOJ.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t believe he did, and at best, the situation was ambiguous enough that the DOJ never should have gotten involved. They did it for political reasons. They wanted to discourage prolife activists by using the full power and weight of the US government to stop them peacefully protesting and praying outside abortion clinics. It is a clear indication of how compromised the DOJ has become.<\/p>\n<p>The punishment makes the situation worse. <em>This was<\/em> The prosecution. Houck had to spend thousands of dollars and put his life on the line to defend himself from a malicious hit that was only carried out to push the far-left\u2019s radical pro-abortion agenda.
