That\u2019s typically done by scientists and those that are professionals in those fields who will tell us whether we are in a state of emergency and based on that, I have the ability to make a declaration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Becerra stated that there has never been an a \u201cfull assessment\u201d You can see what it would look like, and if it is necessary, but there is still. \u201can evaluation\u201d It is.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The outlet was also informed by a spokesperson from HHS \u201cWe are constantly exploring additional actions we can take to protect and expand access to reproductive health care, including abortion care, and are prioritizing the actions that can give us the highest impact and most durable solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Although this is not the first time that the administration has considered taking this route, the HHS Secretary eventually decided to go ahead with it. <a href=\"https:\/\/aspr.hhs.gov\/legal\/PHE\/Pages\/Public-Health-Emergency-Declaration.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Call the number<\/a> on a declaration of public health emergency. The Supreme Court has ruled to reverse <i>Roe v. Wade<\/i> President Joe Biden, and Becerra were pressed to address the issue last summer after they returned the question of abortion to the states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Last July, Democratic legislators <a href=\"https:\/\/doggett.house.gov\/sites\/evo-subsites\/doggett.house.gov\/files\/evo-media-document\/Emergency%20Declaration%20on%20Reproductive%20Freedom%20FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">Write<\/span><\/a> Send a letter to Biden &#038; Becerra requesting them to make a National Emergency Declaration. \u201cPublic Health Emergency declaration on abortion access.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The letter also contained allegations regarding the provision of reproductive health care in the United States. \u201cSupreme Court\u2019s radical and dangerous decision \u2026 has precipitated a full-scale reproductive health crisis across our nation.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIt has also plunged our health system into a state of uncertainty and upheaval that threatens patients\u2019 lives,\u201d The lawmakers claimed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Last summer, as Politico <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/07\/19\/abortion-biden-roe-v-wade-00046644\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">reported<\/span><\/a>The White House considered issuing a public order to allow abortions to be available to all citizens of the country.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At the same time, the president <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2022\/07\/15\/biden-abortion-public-health-emergency-roe-v-wade.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">Telled<\/span><\/a> Health authorities to determine if the administration can legally declare a public emergency of health and what its effect would be.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWhen we looked at the public health emergency, we learned a couple things.\u00a0One is that it doesn\u2019t free very many resources.
