Yamagata University researchers discovered that men with lower libidos were more likely than others to die early in life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur study suggests that lack of sexual interest is associated with all-cause mortality in males, even after adjustment for age, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, smoking, alcohol intake, BMI, education, marital status, frequency of laughter, and psychological distress,\u201d They wrote. \u201cBased on our results, we suggest that lack of sexual interest itself contributes to an increased risk of all-cause mortality, independent of established risk factors in men over 40 years old.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Authors blamed lower sex drives at minimum in part on bad lifestyle habits such as smoking and eating too much.<\/p>\n<p>Men should be puzzled by a new commercial for an erectile disorder (ED) medication. A couple talks about how their man is struggling to find intimacy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbout three years into dating, Zach tells me he struggles with erectile dysfunction, and that he takes a medication for it,\u201d says Cleo Abram, a Vox reporter-turned-YouTuber who is married to Zachariah Reitano, the founder of Roman. <\/p>\n<p>Reitano started the men\u2019s health company after years of struggling with a heart condition, which he shares in one of the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fivod4sawc0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">First ads<\/a>. The company sells prescriptions that allow men to take it up with the pill.<\/p>\n<p>Reitano isn\u2019t naive, however. He understands why so many of his customers depend on his medication.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s never a condition in and of itself,\u201d Reitano <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inc.com\/christine-lagorio\/roman-zachariah-reitano-founders-project.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Submitted<\/a> Inc.com 2019 <\/p>\n<p>It can be a sign of a larger problem. Poor lifestyle habits can cause it. Smoking, drinking and lack of sleep are all possible causes. Sometimes, it may be the first sign that you have a more serious condition, such as diabetes, heart disease or high blood pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Judging by the guy\u2019s appearance, it\u2019s hard to say he\u2019s not eating or exercising right. This medication is likely to be used as a band-aid for many men who have underlying health problems.
