This included @PublishersWkly\u00a0which has reviewed all of my other books,\u201d She tweeted.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It was also stated that <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BNBuzz?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@BNBuzz<\/a> Books ordered for some stores, but not yet sent out. \u201cA distribution issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Janice Dean (@JaniceDean) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JaniceDean\/status\/1619985022844567552?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 30, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dean also stated that she had been told that Barnes &#038; Noble, a major book retailer, had ordered hard copies for certain locations but they hadn&#8217;t put them on display. She stated that this was because they had not put them out on display. \u201cdistribution issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dean pointed out that things got worse from there. \u201cAnd @amazon\u00a0put my price point on #IAmtheStorm at the highest $$ with no discount for a week which apparently unheard of. So yeah, I was screwed from the very beginning,\u201d She added one caveat to her statement: \u201c(P.S. She said that it was particularly disheartening, given that the book is about people who overcome great odds and face incredible challenges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe theme of the book is striving to overcome the odds, which is fitting considering how difficult it\u2019s been competing with people who don\u2019t want these stories out there,\u201d She said.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie Gasparino replied to her comment by saying that he was treated similarly when his book was published.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u00a0can attest to this treatment; when I came to fox and wrote a mainstream book about financial fraud I was told some major newspapers passed on reviewing it because I was a \u2018Fox guy,\u2019\u201d He stated.<\/p>\n<p>However, the majority of responses were positive and Dean shared another post to thank everyone who stood by her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou all have made me feel so much better. Many of your comments have brought tears to my eyes. I wrote #IAmtheStorm to inspire and give hope. All the stories are about real life heroes that deserve their own books someday. If you can borrow it from a library or pass it along once you\u2019ve read it to someone else to spread the sunshine that would make me so happy. Thank you all so much.
