It currently stands at $31.4 trillion. This forced the U.S. to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/economy\/yellen-says-treasury-will-take-additional-extraordinary-measures-debt-limit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Treasury Department to deploy<\/a> &#8220;extraordinary measures&#8221;
