As a general rule, we don\u2019t want to get in the way of open, public and democratic debate on Meta\u2019s platforms \u2014 especially in the context of elections in democratic societies like the United States,\u201d In the announcement, the company stated.<\/p>\n<p>Although the company didn&#8217;t say when Trump would be allowed on its platforms, it said that it was certain. \u201crisk\u201d He had posed a threat to public safety. Twitter, which also suspended Trump after the Capitol Riot, also recently reinstated Trump.
