The <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/596221\/gmc-hummer-ev-edition-1-sells-for-324500-usd-auction-new-record\/\">most<\/a> amount of money that an electric Hummer has been sold for is $324,500.<\/p>\n<p>The electric Hummers have had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestreet.com\/investing\/gmc-hummer-ev-recalled-over-battery-problem#:~:text=The%20automaker%20is%20issuing%20recalls,leaking%20into%20the%20battery%20packs.&#038;text=General%20Motors%20(GM)%20%2D%20Get,a%20battery%20pack%20sealing%20problem.\">significant issues<\/a> that have plagued GM\u2019s relaunch of brand, including recalls over water leaking into the battery packs, and the vehicle randomly dying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hotcars.com\/gmc-hummer-ev-breaks-down\/\">on road<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/electric-hummer-off-roading-trip-fails-middle-desert\">off road<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rep.
