Holmes about different options, we all agreed it\u2019s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions,&#8221; An ABC News spokesperson spoke to Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n<p>ABC News investigated the extent of their extramarital affairs and placed the lovebirds on a halt for eight weeks. Robach, Holmes also failed to respond to multiple requests.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Holmes and Robach shared a clear on-air chemistry, which was exposed when Daily Mail revealed the affair in November. This shocking story also included intimate photos of Robach and Holmes taken over the course of the month, while they were married.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The tabloids covered almost every move of the Disney-owned network in the weeks that followed, keeping scandalous headlines at the forefront.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/t-j-holmes-amy-robach-lawyered-abc-continues-keep-them-off-air-amid-extramarital-affair-probe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>T.J. Holmes has been accused of having other affairs with several former ABC News employees. ABC News was also affected by the scandal of cheating.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think it&#8217;s definitely caused\u00a0some internal drama and gossip. Everyone&#8217;s seen the\u2026 headlines.\u00a0I think\u00a0people thought\u00a0it would blow over, but new reports keep coming out,&#8221; A current ABC News employee told Fox News Digital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Absolutely,&#8221; Fox News Digital asked another current ABC News staffer if the scandal of high-profile cheating had affected morale among the ranks-and-file.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[The workplace affair] makes the network look bad,&#8221; A second staffer was also added. &#8220;It&#8217;s supposed to be a family\u00a0network.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When the scandal first broke, ABC News initially declared that Holmes and Robach would not be disciplined for their relationship, as both parties were considered consenting adults. They were even allowed to go on air the same week their cheating hit the tabloids, and Holmes and Robach proceeded to downplay it and joke about having a &#8220;Great week.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/t-j-holmess-estranged-wife-slams-lack-discretion-respect-over-amy-robach-cheating-scandal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>T.J. Shue and Robach co-wrote a 2021 children\u2019s book called, &#8220;Better Together,&#8221; Based on their blended families.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Holmes is currently going through a divorce.
