James Comer, (R-KY),<\/a> The House Oversight Committee has a new chairman. <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/jim-jordan\">Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH),<\/a><\/u> chairman of the House Judiciary Committee <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/michael-mccaul\">Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX),<\/a> Chairman of House Foreign Affairs <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/house-intelligence-committee\">Rep. Mike Turner (R.OH),<\/a> Chairman of House Intelligence. They are all currently investigating the Biden saga. <\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a list of all of them. <\/p>\n<p><b>James Comer<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Comer stated to the National Archives, Jan. 10, that he was <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/archives-different-approaches-trump-vs-biden-classified-docs\">Examining whether there was \u201cpolitical bias\u201d At the agency<\/a><\/u> related to how it had handled the Biden affair versus former President Donald Trump\u2019s classified records at Mar-a-Lago. <\/p>\n<p>Debra Wall, Archivist <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/s3.documentcloud.org\/documents\/23575130\/nara-response-to-rep-james-comer.pdf\">Reputable<\/a><\/u> her agency\u2019s actions in a letter to Comer last week \u2014 and repeatedly cited special counsel Robert Hur and the Justice Department as a <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/refer-you-to-special-counsel-gop-biden-classified-docs-slowed-hur\">We are sorry for her delay in providing the key details.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Comer\u2019s committee said Monday that the National Archives had <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/national-archives-misses-deadline-biden-classified-documents\">Did not submit information by the deadline<\/a><\/u>His office however said that Thursday was a good day to be alive. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/politics\/top-national-archives-official-agrees-speak-house-oversight-committee\">Next week, a transcript interview with the National Archives general counsel is scheduled.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>A Republican investigator sent also a <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2023-01-10-Letter-WHCO-Biden-confidential-docs.pdf\">Letter<\/a> He wrote Jan. 10 to the Biden White House Counsel, asking for information about the documents at Biden center. He <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2023-01-13-Letter-WHCO-Biden-confidential-docs.pdf\">Send<\/a> A Jan. 13 letter asking you for \u201call classified documents retrieved by Biden aides or lawyers at any location\u201d  \u201call documents and communications\u201d Between the White House and the DOJ or National Archives. <\/p>\n<p>A Jan. 15 was also sent by the Republican <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2023-01-15-Letter-Klain-Classified-Docs.pdf\">Letter<\/a> to departing White House chief of staff Ron Klain urging him to hand over the visitors log at Biden\u2019s home in Wilmington. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithout a list of individuals who have visited his residence, the American people will never know who had access to these highly sensitive documents,\u201d Comer, he said. <\/p>\n<p>White House counsel Stuart Delery largely dodged answering the questions about the classified documents and visitors to Biden\u2019s home, writing back, \u201cWe are reviewing your recent letters with the goal of seeking to accommodate legitimate oversight interests within the Committee\u2019s jurisdiction while also respecting the separation of powers.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The White House counsel\u2019s office has said there are no visitors logs tracking guests at Biden\u2019s Wilmington home. <\/p>\n<p>Also, Comer sent a Jan. 23rd message. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2023-01-23-Letter-Secret-Service-visitor-logs.pdf\">Letter<\/a> Kimberly Cheatle (secret service director) asking for access logs. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven the White House\u2019s lack of transparency regarding President Biden\u2019s residential visitor logs, the Committee seeks information from the Secret Service regarding who had access to his home since serving as Vice President,\u201d Comer, he said. <\/p>\n<p>Anthony Guglielmi, Secret Service spokesperson <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/01\/16\/secret-service-doubles-down-on-claim-it-has-no-logs-of-bidens-delaware-visitors\/\"><\/a> It was early last week \u201cwe don\u2019t independently maintain our own visitor logs because it\u2019s a private residence.\u201d But he <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/01\/19\/secret-service-admits-it-has-some-biden-delaware-visitor-records\/\"><\/a> Late last week, that \u201cthe Secret Service does generate law enforcement and criminal justice information records for various individuals who may come into contact with Secret Service protected sites.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Also, Comer sent a Jan. 18 <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2023-01-18-Letter-UPenn-Penn-Biden-Center.pdf\">Letter<\/a> Mary Elizabeth Magill, University of Pennsylvania President. Penn Biden Center was hosted by the university. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe American people deserve to know whether the Chinese Communist Party, through Chinese companies, influenced potential Biden Administration policies with large, anonymous donations to UPenn and the Penn Biden Center,\u201d Comer, he said. <\/p>\n<p>The University of Pennsylvania <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/since-biden-inauguration-anonymous-chinese-donors-poured-millions-into-university-that-houses-his-think-tank\/\">Received tens to millions of dollars<\/a><\/u> in donations and gifts from Chinese sources since the end of Biden\u2019s vice presidency and the launch of the Biden center. <\/p>\n<p>The Penn Biden Center employed nearly a dozen future Biden administration employees \u2014 including Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl. <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/fbi-christopher-wray-classified-docs-rules-there-for-a-reason\">WRAY SAYS CLASSIFIED DOC RULES ARE &#8220;THERE FOR A REASON&#8221;<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p><b>Jim Jordan<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Jordan wrote a letter to <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/merrick-garland\">Attorney General Merrick Grland<\/a><\/u> January 13, 2013 <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/jim-jordan-investigates-garland-biden-classified-docs-scandal\">Demand all documents and communications between the FBI and the DOJ.<\/a><\/u> about Biden\u2019s classified documents saga. The deadline Jordan set for Garland was Friday at 5 p.m. \u2014 but the Republican chairman <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/merrick-garland-misses-jim-jordan-deadline-biden-classified-docs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I didn&#8217;t receive a response until then<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Jordan\u2019s letter also demanded that Garland hand over details about the appointment of DOJ veteran and former Trump federal prosecutor Hur to be the <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/robert-hur-garland-appointed-biden-classified-docs-special-counsel\">Special counsel for the Biden classified records scandal.<\/a><\/u> <\/p>\n<p>The Republican also asked for all documents between or among the DOJ, the FBI, and the White House related to classified records found at the Penn Biden Center and at Biden\u2019s home. Garland was asked to provide all communications. <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/fbi-christopher-wray-classified-docs-rules-there-for-a-reason\">between the DOJ and Biden\u2019s lawyers related to the classified documents saga.<\/a><\/u> <\/p>\n<p>Jordan told the Justice Department to provide all of the documents and communications related to the storage of the classified records at Biden\u2019s office and his home, as well as all records tied to the discovery of the documents with classified markings. <\/p>\n<p>Garland did nothing by Friday&#8217;s deadline. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is unclear when the Department first came to learn about the existence of these documents, and whether it actively concealed this information from the public on the eve of the 2022 elections,&#8221; the GOP letter to Garland said. &#8220;It is unclear what interactions the Department had, if any., with President Biden and his representatives regarding his mishandlings of classified material. <\/p>\n<p><b>Michael McCaul<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>McCaul wants answers about the classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center from Blinken \u2014 a former managing director of the center. The Republican would like to know when and what Blinken knew about the classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center from Blinken, a former managing director of that center. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/mccaul-demands-answers-blinken-classified-docs-penn-biden-center\">&#8220;grave concern&#8221; Concerning the inappropriate handling of classified documents<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Foreign Affairs Committee is concerned about the national security and foreign policy implications of classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center, where you and several high-ranking State Department officials worked prior to your current executive branch appointments,\u201d McCaul stated this in a Jan. 23 correspondence to Blinken. McCaul stated that he would. &#8220;like to better understand the role you and other Department officials played at the Center.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Blinken denied that he knew about the classified documents last Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>McCaul asked Blinken for any and all communications, November through the present, that were related to McCaul&#8217;s request. <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/archives-different-approaches-trump-vs-biden-classified-docs\">Find classified documents<\/a><\/u> And asked whether any of these documents were State Department records. <\/p>\n<p>A congressman asked for a \u201cdetailed explanation\u201d of Blinken\u2019s role at the Biden center, including when he became aware of the presence of classified documents there and whether he had access to spaces where classified records were found. <\/p>\n<p>The Biden center also employed several other State Department officials who are high up in the Biden ranks. <\/p>\n<p>McCaul informed Blinken about Chinese donations to University of Pennsylvania \u201craise questions about the Center\u2019s potential ties to \u2014 or benefits derived from \u2014 that funding, interactions you or others had with the donors, and whether People\u2019s Republic of China linked individuals ever entered the Center and came within close proximity of classified U.S. intelligence information.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\">CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION FROM THE WASHINGTON XAMINER<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p><b>Mike Turner<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Turner sent a Jan. <u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/intelligence.house.gov\/uploadedfiles\/letter_to_odni_01.10.23.pdf\">Letter<\/a><\/u> Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/intel-community-silent-biden-damage-assessment\">\u201can immediate review and damage assessment\u201d<\/a> on Biden\u2019s classified documents saga. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis discovery of classified information would put President Biden in potential violation of laws protecting national security, including the Espionage Act and Presidential Records Act,\u201d Turner said. \u201cThose entrusted with access to classified information have a duty and an obligation to protect it.
