People who tried intermittent fasting were more likely than those who did not to. They also ate a larger number of large meals (1,000+ calories) and medium meals (500-1,000 calories) during their eating windows, which made them more likely gain weight over the six-year study period.<\/p>\n<p>They found that subjects&#8217; eating habits had no effect on their weight.
