Pelosi is able to see attacker David DePape with a hammer, grabbing him. DePape answers an officer&#8217;s question about what is happening. &#8220;everything&#8217;s good.&#8221; Officers see DePape&#8217;s Hammer and tell him to Drop it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Um, nope,&#8221; DePape said. Pelosi is then struck in the head.<\/p>\n<p>DePape attacked Nancy Pelosi (D. Calif.) at Pelosis&#8217; San Francisco residence on Oct. 28. Paul Pelosi was treated for a skull fracture, and he returned to the public in December. A San Francisco judge ordered that the footage be released. This denied a request by DePape\u2019s public defender to withhold evidence from the public.<\/p>\n<p>Pelosi also called 911 to inform a dispatcher that an attacker was holding him against his will.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This gentleman just came into my house,&#8221; Pelosi said in the call. &#8220;He&#8217;s\u2026 He&#8217;s telling me not to, he&#8217;s telling me not to do anything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The dispatcher doesn&#8217;t seem to be able to comprehend, and at one point she stated that she would hang up.<\/p>\n<p>Pelosi will speak later on the call. &#8220;He&#8217;s telling me to put the phone down and, uh, just do what he says. OK?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>DePape was listening to calls and at one point told the dispatcher his name. &#8220;David.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Other footage that was released included surveillance footage of DePape breaking into Pelosis&#8217; house and DePape interview. DePape said during interview that DePape wanted Nancy Pelosi to suffer because she was her representative. &#8220;evil in Washington,&#8221; Politico <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2023\/01\/27\/paul-pelosi-attack-video-released-00079899\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>.
