This is largely due to his unique spot-on approach. \u201cRick and Morty\u201d voices. His fans now petition Warner Bros. Discovery to hire him as Roiland\u2019s replacement, which they claim will be a seamless transition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They keep tagging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/television\">Adult Swim<\/a>  leaving comments on Dorrough\u2019s accounts saying, \u201cReplace Justin for Rick and Morty,\u201d and \u201cAny calls from Adult Swim yet?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roiland was let go from the network after it came to light that he\u2019d been charged with two felonies, including one count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud, and or deceit, as The Daily Wire previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/oh-geez-rick-and-morty-co-creator-axed-over-domestic-abuse-allegations\">reported<\/a>. Adult Swim announced Roiland&#8217;s release on January 24.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRick and Morty\u201d This animated sci-fi sitcom debuted in 2013. It is darkly funny and features Morty Smith, the main character, on a journey across the universe and between alternate realities along with Rick Sanchez (his eccentric, sarcastic grandfather). Roiland was the voice for both characters. This means that these parts will have to be recast.<\/p>\n<p>Social media users agree that Dorrough is the right candidate for the job. The creator said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/tiktokers-want-creator-to-replace-rick-and-morty-co-founder-2023-1\">Insider<\/a> After a foster parent taught him how Donald Duck was imitating him when he was 6, he started to do impressions on Wednesday. \u201cI\u2019ve been doing impressions ever since,\u201d The publication was informed by him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Even Roiland weigHed in on Dorrough\u2019s talent in the past. \u201cThat\u2019s scary, scary, scary close,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iXkA9SZNz7g\">told<\/a> Vanity Fair in July of the TikTok star\u2019s impressions of Rick and Morty.\u00a0<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cIf you were to play that next to me doing it, people would have a hard time knowing which was which,\u201d He went on.
