Ted Cruz and Ken Paxton, Texas Attorney General, should be disbarred. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.calbar.ca.gov\/About-Us\/News\/News-Releases\/attorney-john-eastman-charged-with-multiple-disciplinary-counts-by-the-state-bar-of-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">filed<\/a> Thursday&#8217;s action against John Eastman (ex-Trump campaign attorney). This is just one detail of the 35-page, 11 count disciplinary complaint yesterday that was made public in the latest lawfare attack upon attorneys who chose to represent Donald Trump.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>State Bar of California\u2019s Chief Trial Counsel George Cardona announced on Thursday the filing of disciplinary charges against Eastman, allegedly arising from Eastman\u2019s engagement \u201cin a course of conduct to plan, promote, and assist then-President Trump in executing a strategy, unsupported by facts or law, to overturn the legitimate results of the 2020 presidential election by obstructing the count of electoral votes of certain states.\u201d Eastman was also mentioned in the press release about the disciplinary charges. \u201cmade false and misleading statements regarding purported election fraud,\u201d This provoked a group to assault and enter the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The eleven charges against Eastman are troubling. The State Bar of California proposed to discipline Eastman for giving legal analyses to Trump and speaking out about his views on the election. It even attempted to hold Eastman liable for any violence that occurred Jan. 6. The disciplinary complaint misrepresents many arguments Eastman and others made regarding the 2020 election. It falsely equates claims of violations of electoral law with fraud.<\/p>\n<p>It is however count two of the disciplinary matter, which Eastman is charged with. \u201cseeking to mislead a court,\u201d That exposes California State Bar as a kangaroo Court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn or about December 7, 2020, the State of Texas filed a Motion for Leave to File Bill of Complaint in the United States Supreme Court, initiating the lawsuit <em>Texas v. Pennsylvania<\/em>,\u201d The second count of the complaint against Eastman begins. The complaint explains that Texas argued for the defendants states of Pennsylvania (Georgia), Michigan (Michigan), and Wisconsin. \u201cusurp[ed] their legislatures\u2019 authority and unconstitutionally revised their States\u2019 election statutes.\u201d Texas applied to the Supreme Court for a remedy. \u201cenjoin the use of unlawful election results without review and ratification by the Defendant States\u2019 legislatures and remand to the Defendant States\u2019 respective legislatures to appoint Presidential Electors in a manner consistent with the Electors Clause.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eastman sought to intervene on behalf Trump. <em>Texas v.
