Hunter Biden\u2019s financial entanglements with foreign businessmen and his penchant for using his last name to secure favors sparked concerns that, had Hunter Biden been living at the house with classified documents, people with ill intent toward the United States may have found the sensitive papers.<\/p>\n<p>The form, found on Hunter Biden\u2019s abandoned laptop, was attached to a July 27, 2018, email to a California apartment complex ostensibly trying to secure a lease for the president\u2019s son. The apartment was actually for Hunter Biden\u2019s cousin, Caroline, the daughter of the president\u2019s brother James, as she was sentenced to two years probation and wanted to serve her time in California where Hunter Biden was living at the time, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/our-familys-sick-why-hunter-biden-lied-about-paying-50k-rent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Washington Free Beacon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Caroline Biden appears to never have made it to The Golden State. Hunter Biden applied for housing but was denied by the property manager at the apartment complex. The form that claimed Hunter Biden\u2019s rent payments equaled $49,910 and other falsities came out of a hurried exchange between Hunter Biden, his assistant Katie Dodge, and the property manager.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease fill out and get back to the guy below ASAP. I\u2019m driving with aunt Val but I need this done in the next 45 mins or so. I don\u2019t know of (sic) that\u2019s possible but I need it for Caroline\u2019s parole officer,\u201d Hunter Biden wrote to Dodge on July 27th 2018. Attached was a copy of the application to rent a Los Angeles apartment at Villa Carlotta.<\/p>\n<p>There were multiple mistakes in the form. It suggested Hunter Biden paid a monthly rent of nearly $50,000; the amount matched what Hunter Biden\u2019s firm paid quarterly for office space in the House of Sweden in Washington, D.C. The amount also matched his firm\u2019s down payment for the space.<\/p>\n<p>It also stated that Hunter Biden was not convicted of any crime and had never had any expunged from him. Hunter Biden was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/politics\/revealed-hunter-biden-possession-of-a-controlled-substance-charge-kept-under-wraps-while-father-spearheaded-drug-war-from-senate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">arrested<\/a> For drug possession in 1988. The charge was expunged from his records. Hunter Biden has a history of drug abuse. He has been to rehab numerous times.<\/p>\n<p>President Biden\u2019s personal attorneys found classified documents stored in the garage of his Wilmington home on December 20. Two more classified documents were discovered by attorneys earlier in the month. Last week, the FBI discovered more classified documents at the residence.<\/p>\n<p>Capitol Hill lawmakers are now questioning the security risks posed by the disclosure of sensitive documents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis has all the pattern of an influence-peddling scheme, and it also has the makings of a potential cover-up,\u201d James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee (R-KY), told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/biden-classified-docs-scandal-makings-potential-cover-up-us-at-risk-rep-comer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a> Sunday \u201cFive different locations at least.
