They didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During a broadcast of the Fox News Channel\u2019s \u201cSpecial Report\u201d on Wednesday, Host Bret Baier asked, \u201c[A]s far as stories, the Hunter Biden laptop story, the story of the COVID origins, did Facebook manipulate those or censor those as they were coming out?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clegg replied, \u201cSo, on the Hunter Biden story, other platforms, I think it was Twitter, sort of just deleted the story altogether.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe didn\u2019t. You could still find the story. Millions of people did,\u201d Clegg also added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut for seven days the prominence of the story was less for those seven days,\u201d He stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just part of the way our systems work to allow our fact-checkers, we have a network of independent fact-checkers to look at the story if they wanted to. They didn\u2019t,\u201d Clegg admitted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd after seven days, that \u2014 what\u2019s called in the jargon \u2014 that temporary demotion was taken off. So, we didn\u2019t remove it,\u201d He stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople could find it. Many people saw it on Facebook. We were simply following the rules by which our systems currently operate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Clegg\u2019s claims that Facebook censored the Hunter Biden story because of \u201cfact checkers\u201d This is contrary to what Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said to Joe Rogen last august.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyfetched.com\/zuckerberg-tells-joe-rogan-fbi-told-facebook-to-censor-hunter-biden-laptop-story\/\">The Daily Fetched <\/a>Rogen was informed that Zuckerberg had told Rogen that the FBI approached Facebook over Zuckerberg&#8217;s comments. \u201cRussian propaganda\u201d A few minutes before the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/19\/fbi-reached-out-to-twitter-before-post-broke-hunter-biden-laptop-story\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NY Post broke<\/a> The explosive Hunter Biden laptop story.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBasically, the background here is the FBI, I think, basically came to us- some folks on our team and was like, \u2018Hey, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert. We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election,\u201d Rogan was told by Zuckerberg.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have it on notice that, basically, there\u2019s about to be some kind of dump of that\u2019s similar to that. So just be vigilant,\u201d META CEO has been added.<\/p>\n<p>After months of ridicule from establishment media and censorship of social media platforms, the story finally came out.<\/p>\n<p>Zuckerberg seemed to be sorry for suppressing the news.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, yeah.
