Leakage classified information.<\/p>\n<p>After Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R\u2013CA), the new allegation was made <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/mccarthy-formally-kicks-schiff-and-swalwell-from-house-intel-integrity-matters-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blocked Schiff\u2019s appointment<\/a> To remain on the House Intelligence Committee where he was chairman for the past four years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring my time as CIA director and secretary of state, I know that he leaked classified information that had been provided to him,\u201d Pompeo stated on Fox News on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Pompeo didn&#8217;t give any details, but he said that the problem was serious enough to limit what he shared his views with Congress.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to emphasize how serious this charge is. \u201cOutnumbered\u201d co-host Emily Compagno pressed Pompeo on why there hasn\u2019t been accountability if such leaks would be \u201ca felony at minimum, up to treason.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a complicated process, right? It\u2019s difficult to pin down precisely what happened,\u201d Pompeo. \u201cBut I could tell you that when we provided information to him and to his staff, it ended up in places it shouldn\u2019t have been with alarming regularity. We could see it. In the end, I decided, I held back information from them as a result.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">MIKE POMPEO &#8220;The fact that\u2026Schiff was the Chairman of the\u2026Intelligence Committee almost ruined that committee\u2026Schiff should be nowhere near serving on the Intelligence Committee. My staff hasn\u2019t,\u201d He told CNN in 2020 that he had previously offered the caveat. \u201cI can\u2019t speak for what all the members of the committee have done or not done, including a lot of the Republican members.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pompeo isn\u2019t the first intelligence leader in the Trump administration to accuse Schiff of leaking classified information. Richard Grenell, the former acting Director for National Intelligence, claimed that Schiff and his team had leaked classified information in January 2021. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/grenell-schiff-classified-information\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cregularly\u201d leaked<\/a> Classified information<\/p>\n<p>Senator Tom Cotton (R.-AR) suggested that conservative commentator Lisa Boothe, April 2021, use Schiff <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/tom-cotton-adam-schiff-potential-source-russian-bounties\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">could be a source for dubious reports<\/a> Russia offers bounties for Afghan militants to murder U.S. troops. Patrick Boland, Schiff&#8217;s spokesperson, replied with a quick response. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/tom-cotton-adam-schiff-potential-source-russian-bounties\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Washington Examiner<\/a> It was at that time\u00a0\u201cYet another false and baseless claim by Tom Cotton \u2014 you would think he would know better by now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) were kicked out of the House Intelligence Committee by McCarthy on Tuesday. McCarthy had accused Schiff of being a repeat lying liar in the past, especially when it came to investigations into former President Donald Trump. Pompeo also called Schiff an liar during his Fox News interview, and praised McCarthy&#8217;s removal from the panel.<\/p>\n<p>Hakeem Jeffries, a Democratic Minority Leader from New York (D-NY), nominated Schiff for the committee this weekend. He called him \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/democratic-leader-picks-schiff-and-swalwell-for-intel-panel-in-defiance-of-mccarthy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eminently qualified<\/a>.\u201d After he was blocked, Schiff\u00a0responded by claiming McCarthy\u2019s move was \u201cpetty, political payback for investigating Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Schiff also spoke about his feelings. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/schiff-claims-he-never-took-classified-docs-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">too \u201cparanoid\u201d<\/a> To bring any classified information to his home while serving on the House Intelligence Committee. \u201cThis is what\u2019s so astounding, I think, for all of us on the Intelligence Committee. I never take classified documents to my house,\u201d Schiff told MSNBC\u2019s Andrea Mitchell, who asked if he had taken any records home. \u201cI don\u2019t know any reason why people would,\u201d Schiff was added.<\/p>\n<p>As the conversation took place, it was revealed that a dozen classified documents were involved. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/report-classified-documents-found-at-former-vp-mike-pences-home-in-indiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found at former Vice President Mike Pence\u2019s home<\/a> Indiana and handed over to the FBI.
