She has also been vocally critical of the church in the past. She defended her general view of religious doctrines in Vanity Fair&#8217;s interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was fiercely criticized by the Catholic Church,\u201d She stated, &#8220;Per&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2023\/01\/23\/madonna-mocks-christs-last-supper-in-vanity-fair-photo-shoot\/\">Breitbart<\/a>. \u201cI quickly realized that they were the problem, not me.
