Thank you, Kathryn. Known for his bombastic rhetoric, he antagonized some of the Right\u2019s favorite foes over the decades.<\/p>\n<p>Limbaugh was privately laid to rest last week in St. Louis, Missouri. As The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/rush-limbaugh-laid-to-rest-at-private-ceremony-in-missouri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Rush Limbaugh was buried in a very private ceremony at Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis on Wednesday.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Limbaugh\u2019s wife, Kathryn, said in a statement that her husband was \u201chonorably laid to rest\u201d with close, immediate family in attendance, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.semissourian.com\/story\/2868048.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Southeast Missourian<\/a>. There will be a virtual celebration of life service held in the future for the public.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The late conservative radio host\u2019s flag-draped casket was drawn by horses to his grave, which lies about 120 miles north of his native Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Sources told local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radio.com\/971talk\/news\/politics\/rush-limbaugh-laid-to-rest-in-st-louis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KFTK<\/a> that the cemetery\u00a0was closed to the public for several hours Wednesday while around 40 family members and dignitaries had to pass through security before being allowed on the grounds.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Joel C. Rosenberg, a friend and former employee of Limbaugh, recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/it-was-real-friend-and-former-employee-reveals-rush-limbaughs-journey-to-faith\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">wrote<\/a> about how Limbaugh became a devout Christian in his final years, which offered him hope and comfort when he knew he was dying.
