Hunter Biden used the Washington, D.C., office space as a rental payment. The $49,910 was in fact a reference to that amount. But the story of the document is more absurd, involving Biden family favor trading, scorned relatives, and an ultimately failed effort to get Hunter Biden\u2019s troubled cousin a new probation officer.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> We traced the source of the document back to an attachment attached to Hunter Biden&#8217;s July 27, 2018, email to a luxury apartment building in Los Angeles. The background check document was part of a rental application, and\u2014though his communications with the building\u2019s property manager indicated the apartment would be for him\u2014text messages and emails on Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop reveal it was in fact for his down-on-her-luck cousin, Caroline Biden, the daughter of Joe Biden\u2019s brother Jim and his wife, Sara.<\/p>\n<p>The president\u2019s niece pleaded <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2018\/07\/26\/bidens-niece-shows-remorse-after-avoiding-jail-in-credit-card-scam\/\">guilty in 2017<\/a> To have more than $100,000 in makeup purchased using a stolen credit card. According to a July 17 text message, Biden explained that he had moved to the West Coast to escape family drama. Also, his sister-inlaw and ex-love Hallie Biden had requested that he leave Delaware. Text messages and passages in his 2021 autobiography, which reveal much of his day in California, show that he was busy making crack cocaine and negotiating with prostitutes. Hunter Biden sent a text to Caroline Biden indicating that Joe Biden believed Hunter Biden was an asexual. &#8220;good influence&#8221; You can find her.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Your dad thinks you\u2019re a good influence which you are,&#8221; She sent Hunter Biden a text message on July 20, 2018<\/p>\n<p>Caroline Biden repeatedly called Hunter Biden her in text messages. &#8220;partner in crime,&#8221; They commiserated about their shared experience and shared their feelings. &#8220;sick&#8221; family. Jim Biden, Caroline&#8217;s father, had previously asked Hunter Biden to help her. &#8220;I need help with Caroline, she is off the rails,&#8221; Jim Biden told Hunter Biden in a <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Screen-Shot-2023-01-24-at-9.14.36-PM.png\">July 13 message<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It appears that Caroline Biden was inspired to move to California by Hunter Biden. However, Hunter Biden delivered. Hunter Biden had already told Jim Biden, July 16, that he was looking to rent a place in Laguna for his child. But by the time of Caroline Biden\u2019s probation meeting when she messaged Hunter Biden about the address, he had still failed to secure a place.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hunter, parole officer needs Caroline\u2019s address in CA in order to transfer to CA,&#8221; Sara Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Sara-Biden-texts.png\">wrote<\/a> He will be notified by him on July 27. &#8220;Caroline also just said she needs to accept job by end of day today and tell them when she can start.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden immediately requested that his assistant Katie Dodge fill out a rental request on his behalf to rent an apartment in a luxury condominium.<a href=\"https:\/\/mailtrack.io\/trace\/link\/8fb03ffba0d15c7489cdd97f38b2a4ad12898bc4?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.villacarlottala.com%2F&#038;userId=6348687&#038;signature=aa0c5e04a379aba5\"> Villa Carlotta<\/a>A self-described &#8220;self-described&#8221; &#8220;residential hideaway for free spirits drawn to the iconoclastic energy of bohemian Los Angeles.&#8221; Dodge was given 45 minutes to complete the task. Hunter Biden, Hunter&#8217;s cousin, told Dodge that the apartment was his and that he wanted to move in that evening. This figure is comparable to the down payment Hunter Biden paid for Washington, D.C., office spaces at the beginning of the lease, as well the quarterly amount that his firm paid to rent office space in the House of Sweden building, K Street, according the. <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/House-of-Sweden-49k.png\">emails with the office building<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is not clear whether Hunter Biden or his assistant intended to suggest that the money was being used for housing. Neither Hunter Biden nor Dodge replied to a request to comment. Also, the form declares that Hunter Biden was not convicted or has had a criminal charge removed from his records. He did not give permission for the Bidens to be approved for the apartment.<\/p>\n<p>Jim Biden also <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/jim-biden-job.png\">asked his nephew<\/a> Caroline Biden was persuaded to accept a job by her family. Another term of her California transfer. I have never made this little money in my life.&#8221; Caroline Biden said she couldn\u2019t take a job for &#8220;less than $180,000.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Caroline Biden seems to have interviewed for this job but &#8220;bombed&#8221; Hunter Biden, in interview, said that she was still offered an internship as Joe Biden had asked. &#8220;I didn\u2019t get the job,&#8221; She shared the news with her cousin. &#8220;I was given an intern job at 31 years old because of your dad asking him to give me something even though I bombed it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden received a dejected Caroline Biden telling Hunter Biden, July 28, that Joe Biden was her father. &#8220;done&#8221; She was with her. Jim Biden was also losing patience. &#8220;Your dad told me he was done with me yesterday,&#8221; She <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dejected-caroline.png\">said<\/a>, adding that her father wasn\u2019t going to let her go to California to see Hunter Biden without a place to stay. &#8220;Dad said he won\u2019t let me come back until I have a place to stay and a car,&#8221; She wrote. &#8220;He\u2019s not \u2018paying for me to be out there for 6 weeks doing nothing.\u2019&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden told his &#8220;crazy&#8221; It would be great if you could tell your cousin. &#8220;Dont stress about the job shithead,&#8221; He said this in a <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Double-the-cray.png\">series of late night texts<\/a>. &#8220;You are crazy im crazy and two crazies make\u2026double the cray I guess. It\u2019ll be fun we may just blow up a house and rob banks together.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden\u2019s efforts to get his cousin to California were a failure, and then he fell off the map. Jim Biden, Hunter Biden&#8217;s uncle, begged him for assistance with his daughter the following week. Hunter Biden ignored him. &#8220;Did I do something to offend you?&#8221; Jim Biden sent Hunter an Aug. 8 text message.<\/p>\n<p>Caroline Biden&#8217;s next move is unknown, but it appears that she never left Pennsylvania.
