Hunter Biden used the Washington, D.C., office space as a rental payment. The $49,910 was in fact a reference to that amount. But the story of the document is more absurd, involving Biden family favor trading, scorned relatives, and an ultimately failed effort to get Hunter Biden\u2019s troubled cousin a new probation officer.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> We traced the source of the document back to an attachment attached to Hunter Biden&#8217;s July 27, 2018, email to a luxury apartment building in Los Angeles. The background check document was part of a rental application, and\u2014though his communications with the building\u2019s property manager indicated the apartment would be for him\u2014text messages and emails on Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop reveal it was in fact for his down-on-her-luck cousin, Caroline Biden, the daughter of Joe Biden\u2019s brother Jim and his wife, Sara.<\/p>\n<p>The president\u2019s niece pleaded <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2018\/07\/26\/bidens-niece-shows-remorse-after-avoiding-jail-in-credit-card-scam\/\">guilty in 2017<\/a> It was possible to buy more than $100,000 worth makeup using a stolen card. While she managed to skirt a grand larceny charge and the prison sentence it carried, she was sentenced to two years of probation\u2014time she wanted to serve in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden was contacted by her on July 26, 2018 from New York City&#8217;s probation office. She informed Hunter Biden that she needed an address in California so her lawyer could transfer her probation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Text-from-probation-officer-Caroline-to-HUnter-1.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden was the one who was responsible for keeping Caroline Biden out prison. In a July 17 message, he stated that he moved to California to escape family drama. He also explained that his sister-in law and ex-love, Hallie Biden, had asked him to leave Delaware. Text messages and excerpts from his 2021 autobiography show that his day in California was spent negotiating rates with prostitutes and making crack cocaine.
