Jordan Chamberlain from the Washington Free Beacon reported that the film was recently shown in North Carolina to daycare operators during a training session of the NCAEYC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was shown to daycare owners in [North Carolina],\u201d Chamberlain shared this to her Twitter followers. \u201cA teacher used a doll to teach gender identity to 4-5 year olds.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Daycare owners in NC were also shown this. <\/p>\n<p>To teach gender identity to children aged 4-5 years old, a teacher used a doll. <\/p>\n<p>A child&#8217;s upbringing is a joy. \u201cnon-binary,\u201d the teachers say it\u2019s \u201ca huge testament to how much we\u2019ve been talking about it in the classroom\u201d &#038; \u201cit\u2019s constantly in conversation\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ufpRTwkXO1\">pic.twitter.com\/ufpRTwkXO1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jordan Chamberlain (@jordylancaster) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jordylancaster\/status\/1617986151931084801?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 24, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen a child brings up \u2018non-binary,\u2019 the teachers say it\u2019s \u2018a huge testament to how much we\u2019ve been talking about it in the classroom\u2019 and \u2018it\u2019s constantly in conversation,&#8217;\u201d She continued.<\/p>\n<p>The clip was taken from a segment \u201cdiversity\u201d In the 48-minute movie, a class discussion was shown. \u201cgender identity,\u201d Included \u201cnon-binary\u201d identities. Maddie Piper is a teacher who identifies herself as non-binary and introduced a doll she named \u201cNash\u201d To a group of 10 children aged between four and five years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA friend likes to ask the question, \u2018Are you a boy or a girl?\u2019\u201d Piper. \u201cNash answers, \u2018I am just a kid.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A child comments \u201cBut kids can be boys or girls.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another adds quickly \u201cOr they,\u201d Then comes a third kid who says, \u201cYeah or maybe non-binary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The camera then switches to a discussion among four educators. \u201cnon-binary\u201d Without being asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it was a huge testament to how much we\u2019ve been talking about it in the classroom,\u201d One of the teachers said so. \u201cYou never mentioned the term \u2018non-binary,\u2019 it was a child who brought that up because it\u2019s constantly in conversation,\u201d She added, making a nod towards Piper.<\/p>\n<p>Piper takes the children back to school and leads them in a pronoun exercise. She tries to get them to refer specifically to the doll she holds in her lap. \u201cthey.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust like me, Nash is non-binary, so they are not sure if they are a boy or a girl, so when people ask them are you a boy or a girl, right now they just feel like saying, \u2018I am a kid,\u2019 while they are figuring it out.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One child asked \u201cDoes he like stars?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey like stars,\u201d Piper replied.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey like stars,\u201d The teacher was echoed by the children.<\/p>\n<p>The National Association for the Education of Young Children, (NAEYC), and state affiliates such as North Carolina all support radical gender theory for children.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe it is never too early to positively support young children\u2019s gender exploration,\u201d An <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naeyc.org\/resources\/pubs\/yc\/mar2019\/exploring-gender-enacting-anti-bias\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">issue<\/a> of the NAEYC\u2019s publication \u201cYoung Children\u201d reads.<\/p>\n<p>Radical gender theory is being used today. <a href=\"https:\/\/christopherrufo.com\/radical-gender-theory-in-american-schools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">school lessons<\/a> To teach young children that everyone is capable of learning. \u201cgender identity,\u201d This is based on stereotypical sex-based behavior and preferences.
