I never take classified documents to my house,\u201d Schiff told MSNBC\u2019s Andrea Mitchell, who asked if he had taken any records home. \u201cI don\u2019t know any reason why people would.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Schiff used the SCIF to refer to a secure place where sensitive information can easily be viewed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so paranoid when I go into the SCIF and out of the SCIF to make sure I\u2019ve got no electronics on the way in, that I\u2019ve got nothing with me on the way out. I am very, very careful about it, and I would assume that everyone else is, but clearly there\u2019s a problem here,\u201d He said.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>As the conversation took place, it was revealed that a dozen classified documents were involved. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/report-classified-documents-found-at-former-vp-mike-pences-home-in-indiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found at former Vice President Mike Pence\u2019s home<\/a> Indiana and handed over to the FBI. Two separate special counsels have been appointed by the Justice Department to investigate former President Donald Trump, and President Joe Biden over their handling of documents relating to classified materials kept in their offices and homes.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff stated that there is a \u201csystemic problem\u201d We are concerned about the White House&#8217;s handling of classified material and call for an intelligence agency risk assessment.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, Schiff became the chairman of the intelligence panel. His public claims that there are intelligence panels in the United States have made him a controversial figure in the four years since. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2019\/04\/21\/adam-schiff-collusion-trump-1283786\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cample\u201d evidence<\/a> Trump&#8217;s collusion with Russia and his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bombshell-schiff-knew-about-whistleblower-allegations-days-before-complaint-filed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">handling of whistleblower allegations<\/a> During the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-senator-hawley-drafts-motions-to-subpoena-bidens-schiff-whistleblower\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ukraine impeachment saga<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy, a Republican from California, has accused Schiff as a repeat liar for vowing to expel Schiff from the Intelligence Committee during this session of Congress. Swalwell (D.CA) was also involved. Minority Leader Hakeem Jefries (D-NY), daring McCarthy to fulfill his promise. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/democratic-leader-picks-schiff-and-swalwell-for-intel-panel-in-defiance-of-mccarthy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">formally recommended<\/a> Swalwell, Schiff will continue to be on the committee.\u00a0\u201ceminently qualified.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
