He is moving towards finishing his book. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/category\/elon-musk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on Elon Musk,<\/a> Fox Business was informed by sources who are intimately familiar with the matter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0One person with direct knowledge of the matter said Isaacson is close to\u00a0concluding a rough &#8220;sketched out&#8221; Draft of his book about the eccentric and famous billionaire. It\u2019s unclear if his publisher, Simon &#038; Schuster will release the book in 2023 or 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/politics\/musk-rips-world-economic-forum-unelected-world-government\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>MUSK RIPS WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM: \u2018UNELECTED WORLD GOVERNMENT\u2019<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The sweeping biography\u00a0will span most of Musk\u2019s life and business accomplishments, from running Tesla, the world\u2019s largest electric vehicle manufacturer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/category\/spacex\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SpaceX that seeks to explore<\/a> The universe, to his controversial acquisition of Twitter last fall.<\/p>\n<p>Isaacson declined to comment. Tesla\u2019s shares have been in a free fall for much of the past year. Musk\u2019s on-again, off-again, on-again pursuit of Twitter ended with him wildly overpaying for a platform that often loses money. Musk was forced to sell Tesla stock to fund the acquisition.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla shareholders are now threatening him. They have seen their stock value drop more than 50% in the past year, compared to the nearly 2% decline in Dow Jones Industrial Average. Musk has said that reviving Twitter\u2019s business might not happen, and he has spoken about the possibility of placing the company in bankruptcy.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla is also under investigation by the government. Musk settled the case without admitting to wrongdoing. He paid a $40m fine and resigned as Tesla Chairman. He also agreed to have his tweets monitored.
