(KGO) &#8212; <\/span>According to ABC7 News, seven people have been killed and one critically injured in shootings that took place at Half Moon Bay&#8217;s farms this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmMv geuMB alqtB Dyur\">At around 2:20 p.m., a report was received about a shooter at Mountain Mushroom Farm near Highway 1 and Concord Farms on Cabrillo Hwy S.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmMv geuMB alqtB Dyur\">Sheriff&#8217;s officials confirmed that the suspect has been taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmMv geuMB alqtB Dyur\"><b class=\"Dyur KYSJr\"> EXCLUSIVE: Watch the moment police arrest a suspect in deadly Half Moon Bay shootings<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmMv geuMB alqtB Dyur\">According to San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa Zhao Chunli, aged 67, was taken into custody in connection to these incidents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmMv geuMB alqtB Dyur\">ABC7 News was told by a source that the suspect worked in a mushroom farm and that all victims were coworkers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmMv geuMB alqtB Dyur\">Sources claim that the shooter did not act alone. My gratitude to the San Mateo Sheriff&#8217;s Office who took the suspect into custody and are working the two scenes of the murders. &#8220;Half Moon Bay is a close-knit, loved community. We all stand with the victims&#8217; families during this terrible hour.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"fnmMv geuMB alqtB Dyur\">White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tweeted that President Biden has been briefed on the shootings, and that he has asked federal law enforcement to provide any necessary assistance to the local authorities.
