She is a talented, young athlete who qualified as a track and field sprinter for the 2020 Summer Olympics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Because of COVID, the Olympics had to be postponed by a year. So she was now set to compete during the summer 2021. The results of her cannabis test result led to her being suspended for one month right before the games started. Because of that, Sha\u2019Carri was passed over by Team USA for a spot on the Olympic team.<\/p>\n<p>Her suspension was met with outrage by many. Sha\u2019Carri\u2019s excuse was that she was anxious and emotionally upset over the loss of her estranged biological mother.<\/p>\n<p>She was raised by her grandmother and had a difficult childhood. Her grief at the loss of her mother was understandable. Who wouldn\u2019t be? She said she smoked marijuana to cope with the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>This situation would be very upsetting for anyone. <\/p>\n<p>Yet, knowing Olympic officials are going to perform a drug test, it doesn\u2019t seem like a viable excuse for doing drugs. These are the rules.<\/p>\n<p>Many leftists and pro-BLM pundits, however, attempted to turn the situation into a racial injustice crusade \u2014 as if she were suspended because she\u2019s black and passed over by Team USA due to her skin color.<\/p>\n<p>Now, it must be said, Sha\u2019Carri is a tremendously gifted young woman. She should come back. I also want her to succeed in her career. We all want her success in her sport as well as in life.<\/p>\n<p>But people don\u2019t become successful if they are handed excuses.<\/p>\n<p>She can turn her situation into a race-based one, which gives her the illusion that she is a black person. It\u2019s giving her the idea that she doesn\u2019t have to abide by the rules, because she can say, \u201cI\u2019m black, I\u2019m suffering. I\u2019m the victim.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-78-sha-carri-richardson-has-black-privilege-steven-crowder-needs-our-prayers-george-santos-needs-a-reality-check-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Don\u2019t believe me<\/a>? <\/p>\n<p>She was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/shacarri-richardson-returns-to-the-track-finishes-last\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">allegedly ejected<\/a> from an American Airlines flight because she was arguing with a flight attendant who asked her to stop using her phone as they were going to take off \u2014 which is something all passengers have to do.<\/p>\n<p>According to the video, she began arguing with other passengers as well as with employees of AA. For some reason, Sha\u2019Carri thought she could keep recording, even though she was asked to stop \u2014 as the flight attendant would do to every other passenger in that situation.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the video, watch for yourself.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sha&#8217;Carri Richardson, Track Star, was kicked off an AA flight after arguing with Flight Attendant. All of us have seen the one person who acts like a jerk onboard, making a scene and delaying the whole plane.<\/p>\n<p>Many of us likely have been told by stewardess to turn off our phones before departure. I\u2019ve been that passenger who is trying to wrap up a phone call, only for a stewardess to request I get off the phone as we\u2019re moving toward the runway.<\/p>\n<p>What should I do? I pick up the phone, and say: \u201cSorry, I will have to call you back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Why? Because I know that I am not an exception. I must follow the rules. I wasn\u2019t targeted for being black \u2014 I was asked to get off the phone because that is what the airline requires.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of doing that, it seems Sha\u2019Carri spent her time trying to paint herself as a victim, and she continued recording.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent example of black privilege to me. This is something I see all the time.<\/p>\n<p>I was actually in a similar situation when I lived in D.C.<\/p>\n<p>I was walking along a crosswalk while pregnant when a woman of color in a car nearly hit me. I was completely wrong. I called her an idiot \u2014 she almost ran me over when I had the right of way \u2014 and she rolled down her window, yelled back, and began recording me.<\/p>\n<p>In that instant, it was: \u201cLook at my skin color. I\u2019m black. So if you\u2019re recording to paint yourself as a victim because you just almost hit somebody, then you\u2019ve got the wrong person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She thought at that moment: \u201cWhy am I recording?\u201d She stopped filming because of this.<\/p>\n<p>Recording people is a way to protect yourself from being recorded. It\u2019s an intimidation tactic used to send a message to those being recorded. It&#8217;s not uncommon for viral clips to be taken out-of-context and make you appear like an evil racist.<\/p>\n<p>So, when I saw Sha\u2019Carri recording, it seemed she was setting herself up to play the victim. She had to simply listen and it would have ended in no time.
