The mother was found dead in Palmdale, Calif. on Friday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff&#8217;s Department. The mother, who was a nurse and mother to her child, was killed in the attack. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recalldageorgegascon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">says<\/a> she voted for Gasc\u00f3n but later left Los Angeles over his &#8220;soft-on-crime&#8221; approach, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxla.com\/news\/venice-hit-and-run-mom-baby-stolen-murdered-after-light-sentence-gascon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> Fox 11 is the &#8220;universe delivered the justice we weren&#8217;t given in court, but a much harsher punishment than he&#8217;d have been dealt in a court of law.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This sequence shows how crime can multiply in many places.<a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/chicagos-reform-minded-da-lets-gunman-off-easy-after-killing-a-man-and-wounding-a-bystander\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reform-minded<\/a>&#8221; Prosecutors&#8217; Districts are the ones that pursue lesser sentences and alternative incarceration to keep dangerous offenders out on the streets. Los Angeles&#8217; murder rate hit a 15-year record in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Gasc\u00f3n is one of several so-called progressive prosecutors boosted into office by liberal billionaire George Soros. Gascon was elected to reduce inequality. &#8220;mass incarceration,&#8221; The embattled district Attorney has been facing two recall elections for his policies.<\/p>\n<p>After winning office, Gasc\u00f3n announced he would no longer try juvenile criminals as adults, but was forced to reverse course in 2022 after facing backlash. Soros donated $2 million to Gasc\u00f3n&#8217;s 2020 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Gasc\u00f3n&#8217;s office did not respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Gasc\u00f3n&#8217;s office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/los-angeles-da-gascon-sentence-teen-mom-infant-video\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> Fox News June 2022, a five- to seven-month sentence at a &#8220;youth camp&#8221; This was an &#8220;appropriate resolution&#8221; Baca&#8217;s Case &#8220;Fortunately, the baby was uninjured, and the mother received a laceration to her elbow,&#8221; The office stated.
