How do you actually talk about tragedy wearing that, because what could be more tragic than that look he had this morning?\u201d he continued, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11664229\/Stephen-Colbert-slams-Don-Lemon-wearing-HOODIE-CNNs-revamped-breakfast-show.html\">The Daily Mail<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Colbert next compared Lemon\u2019An outfit is something that can be worn by. \u201ca high school track teacher who went for a run but then got a little hungry and stopped at a restaurant.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut it was too nice of a restaurant and they said, \u2018Excuse me sir, you have to wear a jacket.\u2019 So then he stole a jacket from Guys and Dolls,\u201d Colbert snorted before saying \u201cDon, you\u2019ve got a lot to answer for.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lemon was surprised to see the discussion about Lemon. \u201cLate Show\u201d Clip with Kaitlan Collins, co-host \u201cCNN This Morning\u201d The next day. <\/p>\n<p>He described the shirt as \u201ca sweater that had a hood on it.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The CNN host said of Colbert\u2019s segment, \u201cI didn\u2019t expect that reaction. For me, it was sort of like a Rorschach test about wearing that outfit. I don\u2019t know if I want to get into it because I was actually really surprised by it.\u201d<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cRight now, people aren\u2019t wearing suits as much,\u201d He continued by showing photos of him in various colored suits. \u201cLots has changed since the pandemic, right? So I just found it interesting that there was such a reaction, because online I got a lot of negative reaction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Next Lemon compared his fashion choices to those of mainstream celebrities who were being questioned about their fashion sense.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think if Barack Obama can get criticized for a tan suit, if Volodymyr Zelensky can fight a war in a hoodie, if Trayvon Martin can start a revolution in a hoodie, then Don Lemon can tell the news in a hooded sweater,\u201d He went on.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think John Fetterman wears a hoodie on Capitol Hill,\u201d Collins replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf John Fetterman can become a senator in a hoodie, then Don Lemon can tell the news in a hoodie,\u201d Lemon was also in agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Collins asked Lemon if he would continue to wear hoodies despite all the backlash. He replied, \u201cOf course.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just want to say that a lot has changed. I understand more how you feel when women talk about [how] they talk about women\u2019s skirts and women\u2019s outfits and their hair and their makeup or whatever.
