When that information is found, it diminishes the stature of any person that&#8217;s in possession of them. It\u2019s not supposed to happen. Whether it was the fault of a staffer or an attorney, it makes no difference. The elected official bears ultimate responsibility,&#8221; Durbin spoke. <\/p>\n<p>Durbin stated that it was &#8220;outrageous&#8221; Trump or Biden&#8217;s mishandling of classified documents allegedly occurred, but the Democrat explained the differences between them. One of the key differences was Biden&#8217;s cooperation with his lawyers, the Democrat said. <\/p>\n<p>The senator warned that the Biden classified documents inquiry will open the door to House Republicans to conduct a variety of probes, much like the GOP did in 2012 when it investigated the response to the attacks on U.S. officials at Benghazi, Libya. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have to worry, since this new group that has taken over control of the House of Representatives [and] has promised us endless investigations, confrontations, impeachments and chaos, what\u2019s going to happen. I only have one word for those who are dubious as to whether that will happen, and that word is Benghazi,&#8221; Durbin spoke. <\/p>\n<p>The House Republicans have pledged to investigate Biden&#8217;s case regarding classified documents. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R. After several other documents were found at Biden\u2019s home or at the Penn Biden Center, Washington, D.C., this discovery is significant. <\/p>\n<p>Robert Hur, the special counsel for the investigation into classified documents in Biden, is handling it. <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/merrick-garland-appoints-special-counsel-biden-classified-documents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was appointed<\/a> This was earlier in the month by the Justice Department.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
