Absolutely,\u201d Maher said. \u201cThe fact that they found them before the midterm elections and they didn\u2019t talk about it\u2026 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwo months,\u201d one of Maher\u2019s guests interjected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwo months \u2014 OK, very shady,\u201d Maher went on. \u201cI call shady on both sides. Now, of course, it was very different. When Trump got caught with documents, he said, \u2018I\u2019m not gonna turn them over.\u2019 He didn\u2019t cooperate. Biden cooperated. But the fact that Hunter Biden was in the house was all a conspiracy theorist needs to know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Federal officials <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/fbi-conducted-13-hour-search-of-bidens-home-found-more-classified-material\">confirmed<\/a> late Saturday night that the FBI conducted the 13-hour search of Biden\u2019s Delaware home on Friday, where they found more classified material.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"3\">According to the White House, the search was voluntary and not subject to a warrant or court-authorized procedure.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"30\">\u201cThe FBI executed a planned, consensual search of the President\u2019s residence in Wilmington, Delaware,\u201d said Assistant US Attorney Joseph Fitzpatrick.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"37\">\u201cPOTUS\u2019s lawyers offered to provide DOJ prompt access to the Wilmington home, and gave DOJ full access to it, including personally handwritten notes, memorabilia, and papers going back decades,\u201d said Ian Sams, Special Assistant to the President &#038; Senior Advisor to White House Counsel\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"38\">\u201cDOJ took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials, some of which were from the President\u2019s service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President,\u201d Bob Bauer, Biden\u2019s personal lawyer, said in a statement. \u201cDOJ also took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"39\">Bauer <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/biden-politics-delaware-0827b59ee141b33af95023377713e075\" data-reader-unique-id=\"40\">said<\/a> The FBI requested the White House to refrain from commenting about the search until the end. Bauer claimed that the FBI \u201chad full access to the President\u2019s home, including personally handwritten notes, files, papers, binders, memorabilia, to-do lists, schedules, and reminders going back decades.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"45\">Biden&#8217;s classified documents were first discovered in his former office at Penn Biden Center, a Washington, D.C. think tank, on November 2, just one week before the 2022 midterm elections. Since then, Biden\u2019s attorneys have located more classified documents at Biden\u2019s Delaware home on three separate occasions: an unspecified number found in the garage on December 20, one document found in Biden\u2019s study on January 11, and five more in the study on January 12.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"46\">Attorney General Merrick Garland <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/merrick-garland-appoints-special-counsel-to-investigate-biden-classified-document-scandal\" data-reader-unique-id=\"47\">appointed<\/a> former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur \u2014 who served during the Trump administration \u2014 as special counsel in the investigation after the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, who was assigned to do an initial review of the case, recommended that a special counsel be appointed.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"48\">Biden\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-issues-statement-over-classified-document-scandal\" data-reader-unique-id=\"49\">responded<\/a> To the scandal of Thursday, he said that he had \u201cno regrets\u201d Concerned about his actions and the fact that he was being questioned regarding the investigation \u201cquite frankly bugs\u201d him.<\/p>\n<p data-reader-unique-id=\"53\">\u201cWe\u2019re fully cooperating, looking forward to getting this resolved quickly,\u201d Biden claimed. \u201cI think you\u2019re gonna find there\u2019s nothing there. I have no regrets. I\u2019m following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do \u2014 that\u2019s exactly what we\u2019re doing.
