Felt like I was dying for several days. Hopefully, no permanent damage, but I dunno,\u201d Musk tweeted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">My cousin, who is young, in peak health, developed a severe case of myocarditis. However, he said that the second booster was a better option. \u201ccrushed\u201d him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had OG C19 before vaccines came out and it was basically a mild cold. Then I had J&#038;J vaccine with no bad effects, except my arm hurt briefly. First mRNA booster was ok, but the second one crushed me,\u201d Musk stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Before vaccines were available, I had OG C19. It was a mild case of the common cold.<\/p>\n<p>Next, I received J&#038;J vaccination with no side effects. Had to go to the hospital,\u201d He said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/vaccines\/covid-19\/clinical-considerations\/myocarditis.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">says<\/a> There is an a \u201crare risk\u201d For myocarditis, especially in young males aged 16 or older after mRNA vaccine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn April 2021, increased cases of myocarditis and pericarditis were reported in the United States after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna). Data from multiple studies show a rare risk for myocarditis and\/or pericarditis following receipt of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines,\u201d According to the CDC.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Musk\u2019s comments come as the CDC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pfizers-updated-covid-booster-linked-to-potential-stroke-risk-cdc-launches-additional-investigation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced last week<\/a> that it would be investigating after a government safety monitoring system detected a potential stroke risk for those 65 and older who received Pfizer\u2019s bivalent shot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCDC\u2019s Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), a near real-time surveillance system, met the statistical criteria to prompt additional investigation into whether there was a safety concern for ischemic stroke in people ages 65 and older who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent,\u201d The CDC stated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/safety\/bivalent-boosters.html\">statement<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The concerning VSD signal has caused the agency to question whether those 65 and older who received Pfizer\u2019s bivalent COVID vaccine were at an increased risk of having an ischemic stroke up to three weeks after their vaccination compared to 22-44 days after the shot.
