You may be shocked to find out how widespread this contamination is. <strong>Charles Gerba<\/strong>A microbiologist from the University of Arizona told this story. <em>Time<\/em> In 2017, it was discovered that towels used to dry hands after washing them can harbor fecal bacteria. This is because showers are more thorough than washing your hands after using the toilet.
