Instead of spending the weekend at his home, he will be visiting his. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-wilmington\">Wilmington<\/a>Delaware, where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/t-classified-documents\">classified documents<\/a> He was discovered over a week ago and is now choosing Rehoboth Beach as his residence.<\/p>\n<p>A reporter asked the White House Press Briefing team on January 20. \u201cThe president is going to his home in Rehoboth Beach today. Does that have anything to do with classified documents being found at Wilmington and nothing being found in the other home?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Karine Jean Pierre, press secretary, replied by saying: \u201cI\u2019m just going to continue to be prudent and consistent and respect the Department of Justice process. As it relates to his travel, as you know, he often travels to Delaware on the weekends. (Andrew Caballero-Reynolds\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/figure>\n<p>Biden was in California, assessing the damage done by the recent storms.<\/p>\n<p>Biden stated that he had received a letter from the President confirming his belief in \u201cno regrets\u201d about opting not to inform the general public about the finding of the classified materials ahead of last November\u2019s midterm elections.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, what quite frankly bugs me is that we have a serious problem here we\u2019re talking about,\u201d Biden spoke with an exasperated tone. \u201cWe\u2019re talking about what\u2019s going on. And the American people don\u2019t quite understand why you don\u2019t ask me questions about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden added, \u201cOkay, look, as we found, we found a handful of documents were failed, were filed in the wrong place. We immediately turned them over to the archives of the Justice Department.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He is \u201cfully cooperating and looking forward to getting this resolved quickly,\u201d He explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think you\u2019re going to find there\u2019s nothing there. I have no regrets,\u201d Biden said. \u201cI\u2019m following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do. That\u2019s exactly what we\u2019re doing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Penn Biden Center found the first set of documents on November 2, 2013. A follow-up search resulted in the discovery of more materials on Dec. 20 in the garage of Biden\u2019s Wilmington residence. He highlighted a variety of legislation that he had passed during his term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, two years in, it\u2019s clearer than ever that our plan is working,\u201d Biden said \u201cWe\u2019re building the economy from the bottom up and the middle out, not just the top down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Later that day, he emerged at 5:40 p.m. from the White House, took selfies and then shook hands as he departed from media and boarded Marine One.<\/p>\n<p>He arrived at Rehoboth Beach around 6:45 pm and left in a motorcade to go on his weekend getaway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Joe Biden will spend another weekend in his home country.
