And he settled the case solely to avoid the cost of litigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Journal has previously <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/25\/wwe-boss-vince-mcmahon-paid-women-14-6m-to-settle-claims\/\">reported that McMahon reached multiple settlements<\/a> Former WWE female employees were charged with sexual infidelity and\/or misconduct. Todaro<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Chatterton\u2019s allegations against McMahon were first made in 1992 when she said in TV interviews that he raped her in the back of his limousine. McMahon sued Chatterton in 1993. She claimed that she was encouraged to accuse him sexually assaulting her by a wrestler. \u201caxe to grind\u201d But he later withdrew his suit. He stated that he had dropped the suit in order to concentrate on his defense against the steroid charges.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/29\/vince-mcmahon-retires-from-wwe-with-3-4-billion-amid-sexual-harassment-scandal\/\">McMahon \u201cretired\u201d from WWE in July<\/a>He stormed back to work as the executive chairman of the company this month and fired several board members who tried to prevent his return.
