For today\u2019s column, I am going to look at a post from Reddit and determine if somebody is in the wrong for not wearing a bra to work. <\/p>\n<p>I answered a few more questions and also discussed the dangers of fluoride. It&#8217;s all on YouTube <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-77-friday-files-is-the-fluoride-in-our-water-poisoning-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, here\u2019s the context for today\u2019s column courtesy of one of Reddit\u2019s famous <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230119143451\/https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AmItheAsshole\/comments\/10fzdt7\/aita_for_refusing_to_wear_a_bra_to_work\/\">Am I The A**hole? (AITA?)<\/a>\u00a0style posts. Here\u2019s what one person asked:<\/p>\n<p>23 Non-Binary members of AFAB have given up wearing a bra for work. As an early years teacher assistant, I have to constantly bend down to pick up toys and speak with children. My bra is causing me pain all day. I have decided to start wearing a tank top under my clothes instead of a bra and I wear lots of layers anyway so, despite having a bigger than average chest, it really isn\u2019t noticeable that I\u2019m not wearing a bra.<\/p>\n<p>While I was running with one of my children, I decided to take off my top layer. I had on a tank top, a t shirt, and some overalls so that I was covered. Despite this, my boss (42M) called me in to discuss the clothing I had chosen. I was unaware of what my boss (42M), was talking about when he suggested that I should wear bras around children. I was shocked that he\u2019d even point it out. I told him I felt that I could live without one if it wasn\u2019t obvious and that wearing one was causing me a lot of pain. He advised me to stick to the job and said that work was not supposed to be easy. \u2018unwritten dress code\u2019. I said I would not be wearing one going forward unless the school were willing to pay for one of the comfortable sports bras they make for larger chests (they usually range in price from \u00a370-\u00a3150). My boss stated that I was unreasonable and that I would be required to wear a bra in the future. Although I could understand if there were any complaints from my parents, no one else has said anything except him.<\/p>\n<p>AITA?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, sweetheart, I am sorry to say you are the a**hole. Truthfully, I&#8217;m not sure why this is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re asking this question and your role is to work with children. It is important to be professional. Your boss was completely reasonable. It is not his job to make you feel comfortable. Your job is to be presentable at work.<\/p>\n<p>There is a standard, of course, that when you show up to work, you\u2019re supposed to look professional. You can\u2019t just walk around wearing whatever you want. Whether you work with children or not, that\u2019s true at every company.<\/p>\n<p>It is absurd to think that your employer should pay for bras that make you feel more comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>Parents who drop their children off at schools, daycares, clubs, or other athletic teams assume that the adult who comes to work will be dressed appropriately.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For some reason, many people have forgotten that decency matters \u2014\u00a0especially in front of kids.<\/p>\n<p>This reminds me of a woman who applied to our nannying job. She arrived at my home in booty shorts, I swear. What could she have possibly thought that we would hire this woman? She was wearing shorts and a low-cut shirt.<\/p>\n<p>Why would I allow my child to walk around in a park with me dressed like this?<\/p>\n<p>It would be completely inappropriate.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s confusing to me that she would need somebody to sit her down in an office and essentially say, \u201cHey, you need to dress appropriately in front of small children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions \u201cWhat\u2019s appropriate for children?\u201d is a difficult one for you to answer, then you probably shouldn\u2019t have a job around kids.<\/p>\n<p>To be honest, it doesn\u2019t sound as if this person is even mentally fit for the job at all \u2014 and not just because she doesn\u2019t want to wear a bra. Your bosses should have known that you call yourself non-binary. You must believe in radical gender ideology that\u2019s not based on truth and is wreaking havoc throughout the West.<\/p>\n<p>This radical gender ideology needs to be removed from classrooms along with all the nonsense that it generates. The entire goal of this ideology is to break down boundaries so that children can consent to certain sexual things \u2014 which they definitely cannot.<\/p>\n<p>This is what you end up with \u201cnonbinary\u201d Women think they are entitled to display their naked breasts without bras in front of minors.<\/p>\n<p>So yes,<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Friday, everyone.
