Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em> They were not required to sign affidavits last year.<\/p>\n<p>Alito stated late last year, that the May 2022 leak of the draft made it impossible to determine the validity of the document. \u201cmajority in support of overruling <em>Roe<\/em> and Casey targets for assassination because it gave people a rational reason to think they could prevent that from happening by killing one of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Supreme Court Marshal Gail Curley stated in a Friday statement that she \u201cspoke with each of the Justices, several on multiple occasions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Justices actively cooperated in this iterative process, asking questions and answering mine,\u201d She stated. \u201cI followed up on all credible leads, none of which implicated the Justices or their spouses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn this basis, I did not believe that it was necessary to ask the Justices to sign sworn affidavits,\u201d She said.<\/p>\n<p>Curley&#8217;s statement follows a Supreme Court statement released Thursday that stated that investigators were unable to determine who leaked Politico&#8217;s draft.<\/p>\n<p>In total, 97 people were interviewed during the probe. The probe was mainly focused on \u201cCourt personnel \u2014 temporary (law clerks) and permanent employees \u2014 who had or may have had access to the draft opinion during the period from the initial circulation until the publication,\u201d According to the report.<\/p>\n<p>The employees were then asked to sign an affirmative statement. \u201caffirming that he or she did not disclose the <em>Dobbs<\/em> draft opinion to any person not employed by the Supreme Court.\u201d It appears that only the Justices were asked not to sign an affidavit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome individuals admitted to investigators that they told their spouse or partner about the draft Dobbs opinion and the vote count, in violation of the Court\u2019s confidentiality rules,\u201d The report was updated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Investigators questioned the Supreme Court justices as they sought to track down the person who leaked Justice Samuel Alito\u2019s draft opinion in Dobbs v.
