She warned lawmakers \u201cextraordinary measures\u201d The government&#8217;s solvency has been assured.<\/p>\n<p>Both Republicans as well as Democrats have led government administrations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-american-people-want-a-real-change-steve-forbes-rebukes-both-parties-for-sinful-government-spending-habits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">allowed<\/a> As a result of the recession-induced lockdown, the budget deficits have been increasing rapidly. The national debt now stands at $31.5 trillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe federal government spends too much, particularly over the past two years, and has too much debt,\u201d Kennedy also added. \u201cAnd if we don\u2019t stop it, we\u2019re going to end up in a deep recession, and Google may have to lay off up to 25 members of Congress. That\u2019s how bad it\u2019ll be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Republican lawmakers, the latest breach of the debt limit occurred. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/here-are-the-concessions-house-speaker-kevin-mccarthy-gave-to-republican-holdouts-to-win-their-support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">struck a deal<\/a> with McCarthy under which the party\u2019s new majority would introduce a budget that refrains from increasing the statutory debt limit. Kennedy stated that Biden should work with conservative lawmakers to avoid default.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome people, including the White House,\u201d He continued, \u201care trying to demonize the House Republicans, but they\u2019re not saying, \u2018Mr. President, we can\u2019t wait to default.\u2019 They\u2019re saying, \u2018Mr. President, we don\u2019t want to default. We\u2019re not going to default on America\u2019s debt. But we want you to work with us to control spending and debt so that we don\u2019t find ourselves in this position again.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy accused Biden&#8217;s administration of childishness because it failed to negotiate. \u201cThey won\u2019t even meet with the House Republicans,\u201d He stated. \u201cI mean, how very mature. Apparently, the people at the White House are not like most teenagers: they\u2019re all over 40.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries (both from New York) competed in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.democrats.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/schumer-jeffries-statement-on-need-to-pass-legislation-to-avoid-a-disastrous-default\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> The fiscal uncertainty can be attributed solely to Republicans. \u201cA default forced by extreme MAGA Republicans could plunge the country into a deep recession and lead to even higher costs for America\u2019s working families on everything from mortgages and car loans to credit card interest rates,\u201d They agreed.<\/p>\n<p>Yellen, who told lawmakers that new investments into Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund and Postal Service Retiree Health Benefits Fund were being suspended, also stated in her letter to McCarthy, that efforts to maintain the federal government solvent would only last until June. Kennedy stated that officials have until August or September to strike a deal. \u201cWhich is enough time for the White House to grow out of puberty and sit down and talk with the House Republicans.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
