The Daily Wire was previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/prior-contact-between-accused-idaho-killer-and-one-of-the-victims-is-revealed-report\">reported<\/a> The suspect allegedly had contact with one of the female victims in October, weeks before Kaylee Gorcalves, 21; Ethan Chapin; Xana Kernodle; and Madison Mogen (21), were killed on November 13.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe slid into one of the girls\u2019 DMs several times but she didn\u2019t respond,\u201d People heard from an investigator familiar to the case over the weekend. \u201cBasically, it was just him saying, \u2018Hey, how are you?\u2019 But he did it again and again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A state court\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/washington\">Washington<\/a>\u00a0on Wednesday unsealed the search warrants used to collect items from the suspect\u2019s home and office at Washington State University\u2019s department of criminal justice and criminology, where the suspect, who will not be named per Daily Wire policy, was pursuing his Ph.D.<\/p>\n<p>Police found nothing at the suspect\u2019s office, the filings show, but hair samples and other evidence were collected from his apartment.<\/p>\n<p>Police were searching for DNA, blood, shoes with a certain pattern on the soles and any information that might relate to the victims killed in Moscow (Idaho) on November 13.<\/p>\n<p>Police seized a \u201cnitrite-type black glove,\u201d There are three possible hairs. One possible animal hair strand is also possible. A computer tower is another possibility. \u201cdark red spot,\u201d Two slices from an uncased pillow containing a \u201creddish\/brown stain,\u201d along with other items from the suspect\u2019s apartment. The warrant said that the items were taken, but it didn&#8217;t say what connection they may have to the murders Kaylee Gorcalves, 21; Ethan Chapin 20; Xana Krumodle 20; and Madison Mogen 21.<\/p>\n<p>Four counts of first-degree murder were filed against the suspect. One count of felony theft was also filed against him. The suspect was present in court and was held without bail. His next court date is scheduled for June 26. Ann Taylor, the suspect&#8217;s public defender filed motions prior to the hearing asking for \u201cAny written or recorded statements by a co-defendant, and the substance of any relevant oral statement made by a co-defendant whether before or after arrest in response to interrogation by any person known by the co-defendant to be a peace officer or agent of the prosecuting attorney, or which are otherwise relevant to the offense charged.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Inside Edition: The suspect asked law enforcement officers if they had ever arrested anyone else in connection to the crime.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.insideedition.com\/bryan-kohberger-co-defendant-accomplice-idaho-murders?fbclid=IwAR2FthXZwbpJYVVqYnVPjoDydHAV_3ftHdnrAYmWQ655A4M6UUU8VLiD4yw\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor also filed 17 additional requests for discovery, which included drug tests. \u201cpayments, promises of leniency, preferential treatment or other inducements or threats made to prospective witnesses,\u201d Disclosures related to electronic surveillance and a \u201cDisclosure of whether a defendant, or any other person, was identified by lineup, show up, photo spread or similar identification proceeding relating to the offense charged, and production of any pictures utilized or resulting therefrom and the names, addresses and telephone numbers of all identifying witnesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This could be the last request.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/idaho-murder-suspect-appears-in-court-plans-to-challenge-the-evidence-against-him\">a section<\/a>\u00a0The probable cause affidavit stated that Dylan Mortensen was one of the survivors and saw a man leave the house at the time of the murders. Mortensen claimed that she opened her doors several times after hearing the upstairs noises. On the third occasion, she saw a man in black clothes and a mask covering his nose and mouth moving toward her. She said the man was 5\u201910\u201d or taller, athletically built but not muscular, with bushy eyebrows. She stated that the man walked past her in the midst of her standing in a. \u201cfrozen shock phase.\u201d She claimed that he fled the house and that she locked herself in her bedroom.<\/p>\n<p>Police traced the suspect&#8217;s location to a white Hyundai Elantra, a cell telephone and to the exact spot where the crime occurred on the day it took place.
